Talking who has a ALTTP instinct?

I must have re-played A Link to The Past over 75 times now... ever since i was a kid. Now when i play it I naturally know where everything, and i mean EVERYTHING IS! I love that game =)

Re: who has a ALTTP instinct?

I have ALTTP instinct. It is a great game, but I don't particularly love it. I know where everything is in ALTTP, and I used to give help to people who needed it. I have ALTTP Four Swords for the GBA but can't play the FS so I just spent my time playing ALTTP and eventually learned the secrets of the game.

Where exactly are you in the Ice Temple? I can probably help you and if not, deedeedaadaadoo might help you.

Re: who has a ALTTP instinct?

That happens to me for every Zelda game after I play it through a few times. It doesn't matter how much time has passed since I last played it, at most I will only forget where a few pieces of heart or something like that is at. I have a good memory for useless crap like that, if only I could use it for school.

Not me. I've only beat it a few times and I suck at it. Right now I'm losing hair trying to beat Blind with 3 hearts.

Not being able to beat Blind with three hearts doesn't make you suck at it. If anyone can beat Blind with three hearts, they are a video game god.

That's pretty much how I am on games. I could play and beat LoZ with my eyes closed I think.

Yeah, that puzzle is hard, so I'm going to quote the walkthrough on NoA's official site: *Note, this is for the SNES version. I heard that the block puzzle was taken out of the GBA version.*

Lift the jar to reveal a floor switch, then grab and push the block onto the switch to open the bottom door. Enter the bottom door, go to the left side of the room and grab and pull either one of the statues up. Use the Hammer on the face switch, Lift the large block, and drop down the hole to appear in the room with the Boss, Kholdstare.

For future reference, there are official help threads for each system.

Mine is more of an OoT instinct. I've played that game more times than I can count. ALttP was really nice, though, and one of the best.

Re: who has a ALTTP instinct?

Yes, well I have the "instinct" but maybe not the memory for everything.

That "instinct", though, really helped with TP, b/c I don't know if you guys noticed by TP basically is aLttP in 3D in a lot of ways.

I always have an ALTTP instinct even though it has been over 10 years since I last played it. I wish I can play that game again online somewhere.

Well thank you. I failed so many times the first time I played the game, that I knew every move by heart the second, third, ..., time I played it.

Re: who has a ALTTP instinct?

Do I have an instinct for ALTTP? Er, emphatic NO. I played it when I got a GBA a million years ago, and I think I got stuck in one of the first dungeons. I just was never very good at it. I'm much better at the 3-D Zelda games, where I can easily get by when I only have a few hearts.

I just recovered my GBA today (we're cleaning out the attic so my mom can move in a couple weeks), and I'm planning on keeping that and all of my Zelda games (and any other decent games I can find). But I'm not so gung-ho about it that I need to finish it, although I'd like to if I have the time over this summer.

Re: who has a ALTTP instinct?

This happens to me all the time. I have beaten ALttP 10 times. But even then, the game never gets boring.
