basic terminology help
can someone please help me with some of the abbreviations that are being used?...like: AoL...and is this the same game as link to the past? which i figured out is ALTTP. right? and any others you might think of.

LoZ is the Legend of Zelda
AoL is the Adventure of Link ALttP is A Link to the Past LA is Link's Awakening OoT is Ocarina of Time MM is Majora's Mask OoX is a placeholder for both of the Oracle games OoS is Oracle of Seasons OoA is Oracle of Ages FS is Four Swords FSA is Four Sword Adventures WW is the Wind Waker MC is the Minish Cap TP is Twilight Princess and PH is Phantom Hourglass You'll see people place articles and other similar words in and out depending on their choosing, e.g. WW can become TWW, AoL TAoL. There are other such things, like internet speak, such as lol, but you probably know what those are. Any more questions, just ask.

ToC is Triforce of Courage ToW is Triforce of Wisdom ToT is Temple of Time HoT is Hero of Time [OoT Link] AST is Ancient Stone Tablets [a spin-off game for Battleview Satellite] FPTRR is Freshly Picked: Tingle's Rosey Rupyland [a spin-off game for DS]

Since LoZ and AoL (NES/SNES Zelda forum) can be played on the gamecube with the collector's edition disc, you'll sometimes see GC and CE, respectively.
I'm farily new again to Zelda, so I have a few of my own to ask about. In some of the threads, I've seen RPG and NPC.......... any ideas what these are? |
