Weird ALTTP glitch

I start my snes and start playing ALTTP when suddenly.... the screen goes black and my T.V. makes the sound of a huge explosion

. Anyone else come across anything like thiss before?

IM going to have to go with it being the Snes because it is older and hadn't been used in long time and was collectiong a lot of dust.

I think it's more the SNES than the tv. Of course, it might just be that the game isn't put in all the way, or maybe something isn't connected right. Check those next time you play.

Try cleaning the game. It could be some dust on the connectors inside the cartridge; just blow into it a few times. Equally it could be the SNES; see if it does it with any other games? Or, again, try blowing into the socket.
I think it's unlikely to be the TV.

we got triforce, just a thought: don't shove anything into the cart to try and clean it, the slightest bit of static can fry it. Recommend just blowing into it; usually works for me.

Try to clean your game, the problem must to be in the game pak or in the SNES, but not in the TV........

Yup, happened to me a few times too. Check all the cables on your snes too, you might just have to replace them, but defo try cleaning both your snes and game first.
