Where can I get ALTTP?
I don't have an SNES, and don't want to play it on an emulator. Do they make ALTTP for gamecube or wii?

Yeah you can download it from the Virtual Console. It's less than $10 I think? Maybe $8.

^ Well, it's $8 for the U.S., $10 for Canada.
But yes. As suggested, if you have a Wii, you could always download it via Virtual Console. There are of course other options though.

I was gonna say...the Virtual Console.
Of course, if you have a GBA or DS, you could buy the GB version. It does come with FS. |

If you have a GBA/GBASP/GB Micro/GB Player/DS you can get the GBA version of LTTP. Or, yes, you could get the Virtual Console version.

My suggestion is Virtual console if you want the real ALTTP
Because they changed some bits in the GBA verison like.. Adding sounds when Link slashes his sword... Which i don't like very much. But i'd say..Stick to Virtual console..

I think everyvody said the same solution about 10 times, this thread can be closed or I'm gonna go mental if one more person say "You can get it on Virtual Console"...

Aaaaaaaargh! Stick to the EBay! It's a good idea! Honestly, nobody mentioned an idea like that before Akėtsune, and it's a better solution if ya ask me. If you have money, that is
.

I'd recommend getting the GBA version. It's been updated, some text has been fixed, and it comes with Four Swords.

A shopping list for you:
Virtual Console on Wii (download it on the Wii Shop Channel) Gamestop (not as likely since most are last and next-gen stuff) Gamers (has NES/SNES/N64/Genesis/etc. You name it.) EB Games (same as Gamestop) Ebay (Lot's of them) There are plenty of places to buy it.

Buy a SNES+ALTTP on eBay. Or, get it on the VC.

I got a GBA one called A Link to the Past/Four Swords. It has the original game plus some extra for the Four Swords game. For example there is a scavenger hunt and Four Swords dungeon if you complete the Four Swords game. I recommend getting that. I got mine at a local GameStop for $9.99.

I have the Virtual Console version. I'd get that version because it's very easy to obtain. You can do it from the comfort of your own home - no need to go to a store to buy the GBA version, which I've heard is actually inferior to the original SNES/VC version.

I got mine on the GBA. I think it was around $17-$18. It's worth it.

Well you could get it for virtual console, that'd easier than looking on ebay for a SNES one, even though there probably alot of original copies, you could also get the gba remake thats slightly different.

I'm not as interested in the GBA version because I like to play it with a console controller on my TV.

Virtual Console is your best friend if you dont want to get a old dusty and used SNES. I hated the GBA version.
