Is Zelda II hard?

Adventure of Link is the hardest zelda game, anybody else think so? I mean, that is the only zelda game I never beat! I got very irritated with the game, so I haven't played it in a while. It's a good game, but I feel its difficulty weighs it down.

Ooooohhhhhh yeah, it's hard. I still haven't gotten through it. I got stuck on the last dungeon. You can max your stats and memorize the way through, even being able to continue from the entrance after dying, and it's still damn near impossible.
