Best Song in ALttP?

I'm sorry if this kind of thread isn't allowed or there already is one existing. But, anyway, mine is the Dark Overworld theme because it fits the idea of the objective you must do, you're an an adventure, save the world from evil, rescue the maidens.

Oh, that's most definately my favorite too. It's so dang catchy, and probably one of the most memorable tunes in the game. It has a real nice, dark (well obviously) bounce to it that just makes me excited. I even found a semi-amusing acapella mix of it a while back, and I listen to that as well.

I agree that the dark world theme is very cool. I also like the forest(dark and light world), overworld and dungeons themes as well.

I was humming the dungeon theme for no reason today. Yeah, ALttP has great music.

Yeah the dungeon theme just gets into your head so much. Its Repeatative but very catchy.

I like the Light World Overtheme...

the little theme that builds up the moment you use the 3 pendants to unlock the Master Sword and pull it out. i still hum that tune to this day.

Hyrule Castle and DarkWorld Overworld are two amazing themes. I also liked the theme of the East Palace.

I LOVE the Dark World Theme, Lost Woods theme, and Credits theme. Great tunes.

I have to add though I don't like the Brawl remix of the over world theme. They completely changed the style when it's supposed to be more epic.

I'd have to say that Hyrule Castle was my favorite. I don't know why I like that style of music, that sounds just a little ominous, without that ominousity obscuring the music.

I like the music when link is in the dark world without the mirror, and he's a bunny. unfortunaltely the only time you get to hear it is when you first enter the dark world on death mountain. as a veteran ALTTP player, that part last about 15 seconds for me. I also really like the lost woods theme and the sactuary music... AH! it's all good!

Darkworld- Because it is the most nostalgic song in the game, one ever to be reused but always to be remembered. It set the perfect mood for the Corrupted Golden Land.

Light World-It brought us the main theme in "Orchestra" I still have yet to play a Zelda who does the main theme better.

Death Mountain- It just sounds plain ominous, perfect for the terrain of the last dungeon.

Lost Woods- Another Nostalgic one, the song actually gives the woods a sense of mystery.

Ending Credits- Just sounds like the way a legend should sound when it ends.

The Lost Woods in foggy state. It really gives you a feel of mystery. Of course, also the Dark Overworld... it's so grand.

The flute boy's theme - it makes me really sentimental.

I really have to post here because this is my favorite game in the world! XD

The Lost Woods Theme is by far the best song in ALttP. I imagine that is what you would be hearing after a long night of LSD. It is like a reverie almost. My favorite version of the song is from the Sound and Drama CD, they did a really good job making that sound all "wooo @.@"

The Dark World is definitely the next best. The song carries power and drama that no overworld theme from any other game can beat.

Hyrule Castle and the Zelda theme of course.

Although, I think the Hyrule Castle theme was done better in TP and the Zelda theme sounds better in it's TWW remixes...

Dark World. Like others said it captures and makes a mood for that part of the game. You've been sent to a dangerous corrupt world. Fighting through all these enemies and saving the maidens is your job. Dark World overworld really sets that tone.

I like the dark world theme on death mountain (after you are past turning into a rabbit). It's just so cool.
