Official "Which Game is the Hardest?" Thread

I have been hearing alot of people saying LOZ AOL and ALTTP is hard so which is the hardest? in my opinion its AOL I never even passed the first level yet

tAOL was the hardest for me, my only chance of beating it was lvling up, that took days,
and even after, I died much on my way to the great palace.
Also, I don't get why you put alttp there, its not so hard conpared to these, I thought OOA to be harder.

some people thought ALTTP was hard but not me I found it easy

Definitely AoL. I never got out of the starting area. However, a couple friends of mine have said they will help me through it, because I personally don't mind receiving the help. I've beaten LoZ, and while I never beat ALTTP, that was more because of disinterest than how hard it was. I didn't try playing ALTTP until after I had already beaten MM, and at that point I already knew the ending anyway, so I just let it go.

AoL is the hardest, without a doubt.

LOZ was the hardest fo me.
AOL was easy once you got the hang of it, and if something was too hard all you needed to do was level up. I also think LoZ was more confusing, i mean the whole place looked very similar. ALTTP is probably the easiest of the three. You had a map and direction so it wasn't as confusing.

ALttP is waaaay too freaking hard. Hardest Zelda by far.

This is no contest. Nothing comes close to AoL.

And why do so many people have such trouble with aLttP? It's bleeding hard to complete it fully, but the main game is not that bad.

AoL is the most difficult. But you can make it easier by leveling up and learning how to maximize your life with magic. What a challenge!!!

AoL because if you fall in a pit that's one life gone right there.

AOL takes those other games to the cleaners. No questions asked. The game taunts you every time you get a "Game Over" screen (not to mention the actual taunts that Ganon gives you) by putting you back to the very beginning of the game with all the hard work you just did completely for naught.

Your blood level will rise whilst playing this game. As difficult as it all sounds, it's not impossible to beat. Just frustratingly long.

Adventure of Link is by far the most hardest Zelda game I have ever played. If you actually level up on weak enemys at the start of the game, you'll find it alot more easier.

AOL hands down. The enemies will kill you before you kill them, and jumping over pits without getting hit by an enemy in midair is hard enough! But i'm suprised to find people saying that ALTTP is hard, but that's just me.

Obviously AoL, but you get the most out of beating it, and it is a great sense of accomplishment.

AOL is definantly the hardest, no doubt about it.

I've never played ALTTP, but out of LoZ and AoL, AoL is harder. That doesn't make it a terrible game though.

I've been playing ALttP for the first time lately, and its, challenging, but, not. AoL is just plain difficult and frustrating.

Oh without a doubt Zelda 2. Not even worth this thread to find that out..... Zelda 2 is pure combat. And for a NES game, its FREAKIN' HARD!!!!!!!
