Used SNES game locations?

Ever since I lent my copy of ALttP to a friend, who I have been out of contact for a year, I have wanted to buy another copy. The problem is Game Stop/EB Games no longer sells used SNES games. So, what stores do sell them? It needs to be a store, since my parents don't trust people enough for me to be able to buy one online.

My gamestop still sells lose games that people still bring in.
Parents trust you enough to buy it from another person directly?
Can always advertise in a newspaper or something as a weird idea.

Last time I checked, the SNES section changed to a N64 section (in Elyria).

Unfortunately, they come with me when I go to the mall.

Advertising in a newspaper would cost way to much, but thanks for the suggestion.

There is actually a chain of stores that sells paintball stuff that started another chain near where I live called Video Game Exchange that sells games going back to the NES, but as of now, there are only 3, and they are all in Georgia. Try a flea market.

I remember just a few years ago, I was able to buy NES games at an outdoor swap meet. As far as I know, swap meets and flea markets are essentially the same thing. Have you been considering getting a wii at all recently? It's a nice investment, and it does have ALTTP released for virtual console.

Do you not have a GBA? The Alttp port is done quite well, with a few retcons, plus the Four Swords game.

All the game stores in the UK still supply used NES/Snes games. I've seen several copies of Alttp, LoZ and AoL, all boxed and in good condition. I'm surprised the US stores don't still do the same.

your lucky, where i live we never even got FSA or star fox assault. and finding certain ds and wii games is a nightmare. For the first time since 2000 i found a shop with FFVII and VIII. All the snes games we get are james pond and stuff... my cousin said he saw Shaq Fu and T&C Surf lol,

I plan on getting that for FS, but I don't like the changes. They gave Link child Link's voice, while I pictured him as an adult and I grew up with this game. Also, in the GBA port, you can't get to Chris Houlihan's room without hacking the game, but when you do, it is called the Secret Room, or something [/run-on sentence]

Well, if such changes put you off, then keep on looking for the original. There are some perks to the changes too, though. The Palace of the Four Sword adds a whole new challenge to the game, well worth a play.

we have stores in northern ohio (maybe other places as well, but IDK) called The Exchange. they all carry different stuff of course, but you can still get original nes's and snes's there, and games too. also, ebay is a good place, especially since a lot of the items have the "buy it now" feature, so you don't have to wait around and bid.

The only one I know of for sure is Athens, near the Georgia Square Mall.

little ma and pop shops are good. they usually have some dusty old games. they're getting harder to find nowadays, but small toy shops, consignment shops, family-run video and game stores.

also, there is a chain called "The exchange" that (at least around where I live) still have lots of nes, snes consoles and games.

Unfortunately, the Game Stop by me stopped selling SNES games. Blockbuster's Game Rush never sold old games to begin with.

Ebay would have it. Though I don't know if you buy stuff on the internet. If you can't seem to find it anywhere else I would check Ebay.

eBay is actually pretty good. I found a Speed Racer game for the SNES before and bought it for $12, and it have everything with it, even the plastic, which eventually ripped. It had the poster that came with it, the thing to subscribe to the Nintendo club thing, the manual, and the health booklet.

Just Google ALttP shop, then you should be able to find something. But Ebay is a good place to buy it.
