Urgent Question: A Link To The Past
Not sure if this is the place to make this thread, but I need some assistance.
I'm in the Misery Mire Palace fighting Virtreous when I realize that I need an Ice Rod in order to attack his fire head. Where do I get an ice rod..?  |

You wouldn't be encountering a fire head in Misery Mire, you mean Turtle Rock. Plus, I don't think Virtreous is the Turtle Rock boss.
Anyway, you will find an Ice Rod on the eastern side of Lake Hylia (in the Light World). Use your Magic Flute and go to point #8 (it should be in the lower right corner of the map). From there, head north. You will come to a wall with an cave entrance in it. If you go in, there is a fairy spring. Dash into the statue in the middle and you will get a golden bee (it's faster and more powerful than normal bees). You can capture it with your net. Leave the cave and go back outside, then head left about two tiles (the width of Link when he's facing you is one tile). Face the wall and place a bomb. It will blow a hole in the wall, and you will enter the same cavern with the fairy spring, but on the other side. There will be a chest with the Ice Rod in it. |
