Darkworld Shape-Shifting

In ALttP, when you first enter the Darkworld, you turn into a bunnie. When you talk to the bouncing ball, it says that the shape that you turn into is based on you mind. What in Link's mind? What would cause him to turn into a rabbit?

Well. Its more likely based on the person's, personality. Link was a soft, kind hearted boy. So he turned inot a cute harmless little bunny rabbit. The bully turned into a monster, because he was mean. And the kid most likely turned into a ball, because he got pushed around alot by the bully. Makes sense doesn't it?

The kid turned to a ball because he always changes his mind.

Link turns to a rabbit for basicly what Drk Link said, Gannon turns to a pig because he is greedy.

the red guy probably wants to take over the world the pink dude probably is just a normal guy and link i am not sure maybe because he is a kind person

Nah, bunnies tend to be peaceful, and pacifists, unlike Link, who usually goes to kill the enemy (well, depends on the player) so basically, I'm not so sure about Link.

Another question, why didn't the thieves change into pigs? Where did the cyclops come from? Why the hell do trees talk!?!?!?

just...because it is what makes up a game its a thing called mystery.
and the cyclops are his minions there not human.
the bunny probably represents links mystery because you usally dont see a pink bunny7 wearing a tunic walking on 2 legs everyday do you?
it represents that the player could be anything wiht personality

It reflects the person. Link is no warrior, and kind. But, rabbits are hard prey to catch. In other words, Link is a good guy and a tough, but small, opponent.

Basically Its all been said> LInks kind hearted and fights for good. When was the last night u met a mean rabbit who only wanted world domination!

The ball> Yeah he kept changing his mind, so i guess he went into a simple form seeing as he could'nt stop deciding on anything

And yeah the guy was a monster cause he bullied the ball!


Just a quick note off-topic slightly but when playing Lttp, when you first got to the dark world did u ever feel angrey? Angrey that this had happend and that knowing that you where the only one that could stop it ment that even if you had to sweat blood you were gonna get that Light World back and kick Gannons arse

Well I thought he was a bit scared for what happened around him on top of the fact that he was kind/soft. I don't find being scared any embarassing for him either.

I think link turned into a bunny becuase he was pure of heart, he was kind and caring.

Which makes me wonder, In TP he is suppoesded to turn into a wolf, this gives a very different message.

Actually I think in japanese culture wolves are seen as noble animals so I think it would fit.

Wasnt that the fox? "Smart as a fox" atleast they say that here, in my country.
For me, bunny in the folklore does more represent someone who is scared, so that is what I guess as an answer.
Its ok to be scared when all around you turns evil or die, noone is to be trusted, you are in a once golden world but now twisted with evil and you are the only thing that can destroy an almost invurnable foe who does everything he can to kill you. I would be scared to death if I was him.

The whole Twilight Princess/ALttP parallels at the Dark World/Twilight Realm... Which leads me to think that TP Link is hardcore.

Also, have you performed the Invisible Sword glitch? The one where you use a sword as a bunny... It's pretty fun.

I have owned rabbits in the past, and let me tell you, get on one of their cases and you're cruisin' for a bruisin'.

I doubt any of you might know this (probably from watching Bugs Bunny cartoons or somethin',) but Bunny's Got Claws.

Trust me don't ever, ever, let yourself get kicked by a bunny (I'm NOT jokin' they can and will do that.)
