Mario pic in AlttP

I noticed this awhile back. Did anybody notice that in some of the houses in AlttP have what appears to be a picture of Mario's head. This may only be in the GBA version but I'm not sure.

Hmmm... i haven played the SNES version in a while... i guess i will check as soon as i can.

Anyway i bet Master of ALttP will answer this right away :p

I noticed that yonks ago. There's a few of them scattered around. I could be wrong - and probably am - but I think if you pull one of these Mario pictures, you get cashmoney.

The pictures of Mario in ALttP are located everywhere in some houses in Kakariko Village. There their. Just look harder.

Yeah. Go up to one of them and press <R>. You'll get 20 Rupees in blue.

This is such an obvious observation. Almost anyone who payed any attention when they played ALttP will have known this. But, did you know that if you take a fish to the Magic Bottle man in the middle of Kakariko Village, he'll give you a Red Rupee, a Green Rupee, 10 arrows, 8 bombs, and a full magic boost? It's kind of time consuming, though, so I would suggest just throwing the fish in deep water and receiving 20 free Rupees that way.

Yes there is one on the GBA. They have added a few Mario features in some Zelda games. Especialy LA. That has MARIO BROS. written all over it.

Exactly. It's nintendo, and their spokesperson is mario. They own it, and zelda, so if they want a italian plummber whos greatest enemy is a turtle in a game, then by all means, they can put it in.

yeah they could put it in greatgibdos right they could even put in yoshi by all means but than we would really go WTF???anyway atleast the stuff dont harm or ruin the game and maybe its something to take a look at when you're fully serious and you just try and figure out why its there?also alot of zelda games feature nintendo chracters with alot of funny secrets to them such as oot the pictures inside the castle

Mario's ugly face always seems to somehow find its way into all Zelda games.

go to the house where you got the bug catching net. (above the tavern) then look on the rear wall. Mumamia! itsa mario!

Has anybody ever seen any other cameo appearances in AlttP?

None to my knowledge. Oh, except the Chain Chomps in the Palace of the Four Sword (GBA version).

Also, there are some Mario pics in Village of Outcasts. Should've been Wario or Bowser but no... ;-;

I'm just playing, but yes. It is in both the GBA and SNES versions.

Tell the truth, I didn't no that you could even catch fist in ALttP!

This is probably well-known already, but you can see Mario (or at least characters from the Mario universe) in most Zelda games. LA has a photo of Princess Peach that you give to Mr. Write Not forgetting the Gombas and Pirahna Plants that appear in the 2D platform segments.
