Crazy menu...

Yeah, so I was playing Zelda 1 today, and I just got the bow, but when I went to the menu screen I couldn't select it! In fact, I couldn't move the cursor in the inventory at all! What gives?

Um, I think you use the select button to move around or "select" items. Not sure though, ages siince I've played it...

Select button? On a Gamecube? Ah, no wait, by bad, I didn't say I was playing the GC version. So now you know.

Well, I suppose one of the other buttons would work as the select buttons then. Have you tried them all? If memory serves it's the Y-button! Could be wrong though. Sorry if it dosen't help...

You need to buy the arrow first. Otherwise, you can't even select the bow. What good's a bow if you don't have anything to shoot from it?

Yeah, of course, I forgot all about that! It really shouldn't be that way though, since it brings confusion to some, as in this case. That's why arrows are included with the bow in later games, I guess.

Oh, piffle.

That makes me feel slightly stupid. Someone please lock.

As you wish *t3h locked!*...and as a side note, everytime you shoot an arrow, you use up one rupee. So if you run out of money, you can't use your arrows until you get more money. You can never run out of the actual arrows though, just money.
