Dark Link the Last Enimy

If you read the timeline throery the Zelda 2 Adventuer of link is the last game. Gannon is dead and Hyrule is gone. When you reach the end of the Grand Palace you fight the Blue andgle. Then you fight Darklink??? Weild. Why is he the last boss and hardess of all the games.(unless you use the corner crouch cheat). Why is that and who is the old man on the legde. Please reply.

How is Hyrule gone?Zelda 2 takes place in Hyrule O.o

Dark Link is a creation of Ganon who was summoned before his defeat in LOZ1 I believe

No Zelda 2 LA takes place in North Castle after Hyrule was destored by a tribe living south of hyrule, and the Master sword is lost. It is NorthWest of Death Montain. Gannon is dead at this piont. Read the story of it. In this game Link has the Triforce of Wisdom and Power. Dark link is guarding the Triforce of Courage and when Link gets it that is the end of the saga. Unless Gannon some how returns. Which he probly will.

Was Ganon not made immortal when he touched the sacred Triforce, and soiled the Sacred Realm? That was why I always believed that he was able to live for so long, throughout the whole Zelda series.

Well, quite simply, every hero has to fight himself someday. Some it's more emotional, but with Link he actually fights himself. Shadow Link was just another good idea that Nintendo made. The old man? Who knows, they never mention who he is. It's been a while since I've been that far, maybe I should finish the file that I started recently. Oh, and about that corner crouch trick, yeah, I used it both times I fought him. I didn't want to get a game over, and I was kinda skeptical about it the first time. The second time I was on my last life, and I just wanted to finish him off.

I think the old man is the sage of time. But Gannon is not immortal (sort of) in the first game LoZ link took the Triforce of power from Gannon and collected the Triforce of wisdom. Then in Zelda 2 AoL the monsters try took kill link to use his blood to restore Gannon. That is how he might come back.

But why does he come back almost every single game? You'd think they'd learn to stop reviving him, because it isn't going to work.

Why does Dark Link have to come back every game? HE DOESN'T! He's only been in a total of three games. AoL, OoT, and FSA. Why are you saying that he's been in every single game? Oh, I get it, having a huge amount of them in one game makes all the games have at least one.

I'll assume the above comment was referring to reviving Ganon, and not Dark Link. Good point, though. He just gets owned every second game, so there's little point.

Personaly, I always liked darklink. Not for any nesscisary reason. I just feel there is a darkness in him that remindsme of myself.... I like ganon to but thats another story!

My post was about Ganon, as Dalek said. If you had read my first post, you would have seen that I had been talking about Ganon. Morte.

In my opinion, Dark Link is one of the coolest villains in the Zelda games. He's second only to Minish Cap Vaati. Coming in at third is Skull Kid/Majora's Mask! Hm... Hey, how do you start a poll thread? Don't go stealing my idea, if you can figure out what it is.
