ganon in alttp *spoilers*

just curious, when you hit ganon a couple of times and then he says ur pretty good etc, then you have to light up the two torches to see him....how many times do you have to do that? cause i've used alot of magic and then i can't see him anymore! is there an other way to do it? or do you need like 4 green potions?

I do recommend having a green potion or two, however, I also recommend having a fairy or two to fall upon when he clocks ya. Also, if you haven't done so already, fall into the well near the smith shop and sprinkle some of that fine magic powder on the altar in there. A Keese will pop up and slice the amount of magic needed to power say the lamp or fire rod in half and will save you a TON of magic in the long run. Essentially, this fine little slice is the same as the Great Fairy granting you twice as much magic in OoT or TWW. It's just the prerequisite to that wonderfully less confusing system. Now, I also highly recommend that you use the fire rod rather than the lamp in that final battle as it has a greater range and you can fire it from anywhere without much risk of running into Ganon due to his invisibleness.

If your like me you don't need any more potions, just go in, use the fire rods, hit him with the Master sword, shoot him with an arrow, this takes about 4-5 goes!
