Maybe you should check out the ZU's gamehelp section? I suppose that helps. n_n;;

Unhappy Help

I think I did a mistake on Zelda 2. I'm in dungeon in the big island. and I can't beat the boss. Do you save the child in the dungeon before this one, (Oops I'm already finnished that one). Do that mean that I have to start the whole game over...

ALttP

Please tell me I'm not deluded but I clearly remember there being *two* mad batters when I used to play this game years ago. The second would drop your magic costs to 1/4 (instead of after the 1/2 given by the first one in the Smithy Well). I cannot remember where the second guy is (just picked the game up again) and NONE of the walkthroughs I can find on the internet (and I've spent all day so far reading) seems to mention the second one :confused:

I am pretty sure that there was only one, and he "curses" you with the ˝ magic cost - like you said.

Re: Official NES/SNES Zelda Gameplay Help

No the child is not in the dungeon itself. He is on that island maze but in a hidden cave. Just walk around on the available tiles until you find the cave.

What boss are you talking about exactly?

If you need help on LoZ, AoL, or ALttP, this is the place where you ask questions.

No. You can complete the palaces in any order. If the small keys get messed up, you can just use the fairy spell to fly through doors.

After using the Super Bomb on the crack in the Pyramid, enter the opening. Walk up to the Mysterious Pond and choose to "Throw an item." Press the Y Button to throw the Bow into the Pond. A Great Fairy will appear and give Link the Bow back with Silver Arrows. Exit the room, go back in, walk up to the Mysterious Pond, and choose to "Throw an item." Press Left seven times to choose the Sword, then press the Y Button to throw it into the Pond. A Great Fairy will appear and give Link the Golden Sword.

Re: Official NES/SNES Zelda Gameplay Help

More specifically, you can find the Super Bomb in the Dark World Bomb Shop. This shop is in the same location your house would be in the Light World.

Note that the super bomb can only be bought after beating Ice Lake Cavern and Misery Mire. You have to beat those 2 dungeons before the shop will sell you the super bomb.

When you get the super bomb (explained above) and bomb a hole in the great pyramid's wall. The same fairy pond that you throw your sword in to get the golden sword. You throw your bow in to get the silver arrows.
