Official NES/SNES Zelda Gameplay Help

Hi, terribly sorry if this has already been asked, 38 pages is a lot to read and I don't like using walkthroughs unless I'm incredibly stuck and have no idea what to do.

I'm playing Link to The Past for the first time, and I can't seem to get the special bombs at the bomb shop

and another thing would be I'm in the dark world going to fight the 3rd boss and I made it all the way to the head of the beast in the woods but now I don't know how to get to the boss, or finish the holes in the ground.

any help would be amazing. Thanks ^^

Hit the head with the fire rod.
If you don't have it, find it. There are 3 sections of this dungeon. The one on the far right has the rod. The one in the middle has the big key, and the left one has the boss and can only be opened with the fire rod.
And super bombs aren't available until you've beaten all 7 dark world dungeons.

Haha I saw your post before I left.
It was all coincidence.

The Super Bomb is available before Ganon's Tower, if not before Turtle Rock. I used to think it wasn't available until right before Ganon, but that's not true.

It's after Turtle Rock. I used to run around going "WHERE'S THE DAMN BOMBS?!?!" when I hadn't beaten Turtle Rock, so I know this to be fact.
And you can't just beat Turtle Rock, you have to beat all 7.

I'm having a lot of trouble with the Death Mountain part of the game. I've saved the 1-up doll for getting through this part of the game and I reset each time I lose one life before getting t0 Saria Town. I have all of the spells, Heart Containers, Money Bags and Magic Jars that you can get at this part of the game, and my level is 3-3-4. I know how to get through the mountain, but I always seem to die at or before the last tunnel before the one leading to the hammer.

That is why I would like to know where to grind, what to grind on and how long to grind (that is, what level I should be at so I can easily defeat Darias) I would grind in Parapa Palace but it's sort of hard now that it's just a pile of rubble.

I always use the Jump Spell to avoid the first Red Daria, and have never reached the second one.

Your best bet at this stage would probably be the Swamp Palace, in the swamp north of the woods where Bagu lives. You don't need the Hammer until you're going to the third palace.

When it comes to fighting in Zelda 2, you may be screwed no matter what level your on, or eventually. Once I have to go past the spider area, I don't last too long even on level 9 for everything. Without cheat codes I can not beat this game.

Actually, just now I grinded at Saria Town Plains/Forest until reaching level 4-4-5, using information I found by Googling.

How do you use magic in the GBA version?

Select, just like the original. But in my experience, you have to bring up the menu once time per screen for it to work.

Despite having most zelda games, i downloaded the first 2, 1 and 2. And got stuck within orking around- I just got the sword and died.

Do you mean you got Roms? If you don't actually own the real thing, it's illegal. That said, I somehow doubt the police can actually be bothered with little thing like this, in comparison with the likes of murder and theft.

They could be downloaded from Wii Shop, you know.

Yeah it's Wii Shop my mum bought it. But that idea is quite good.

Oh. I wouldn't have thought of the wii. I don't have a wii, otherwise I would've thought of it I suggest you look up a walkthrough. It oan be found on the site. seeing as you're new (kind of) I could Link you to the pages?
