Re: Loz & Aol

Personally I think they are wonderful and yes should be bought. At the very least, LOZ, though not everyone seems to enjoy AOL.

Buy both. If you love Zelda, you owe it to yourself to play both.

Re: Loz & Aol

Whats wrong is that AoL is a side scroller and is more of a Mario game than Zelda.

Re: Loz & Aol

Not many Zelda fans liked it but if you like Zelda give it a chance. It's sorta like buying a mystery bag at the dollar store. You might like what's inside or you might not.

You haven't played AoL have you? If you've played the game, right when the game starts, you'll know its still Zelda. The sidescrolling aspect of the game isn't bad, its just different. Hear me out, people play something that they like, and they get used to that style, but once something changes, people pre-judge and are more easily influenced by other's opinions. Play the game, don't use other's opinions as your own.

Re: Loz & Aol

::shrugs:: Honestly, I didn't mind the side scrolling bit at all. ^_^ One of the many aspects to the Z games has always been attempting new things with game graphics and gameplay. That's what makes the Z games so great. None of them are really all that similar. I think AoL is awesome! perhaps not as great as the rest, but a definite great job on Nintendo's part and it makes the game unique and fantastic.

I like AoL, but if you ask me, all the other Zelda games have it beat

Re: Loz & Aol

The Adventure of Link is less puzzle solving and more action. The RPG overworld might annoy some.

Re: Loz & Aol

Yeah, it annoyed the heck out of me. I thought it was an okay game. I just wanted it for the "collection". I didn't really get into the gameplay. I'll probably go back and try it again, but not one of my favorites. That's all I'll say.

Re: Loz & Aol

I absolutely loved the Adventure of Link...

I think it's a much harder Zelda game than most of them...

it prolly took me the longest to beat out of any of the other games...

there is less puzzle solving and more of an rpg feel to it since you learn spells and level up your life, magic, and weapons...but I thought it was a cool game...

at the time of its release, you couldnt do too many extravagant things with graphics and if they had followed the same style as the first one, I'm afraid the game wouldnt have been much different from the first or as special...

I would encourage buying it...

Re: Loz & Aol

i love them both, although i like the original the best. it started it all. just think when you play that game how it paved the way for all the other zelda games. its pretty amazing. and they are definetely both worth buying.

Re: Loz & Aol

I thought that Adventures of Link was kind of difficult. But, I'm just me. Did anyone else think it was harder than the first Zelda?
