Gold Cartridge AlttP

I asked a guy at work, "Would you kill your pet rat for a gold cartridge copy of AlttP?" He said he would. So I am guessing it is rare, or it does not exist. Whether it does or not.... would you?

Actually, the both LoZ & AoL were mainly made using the gold cartridge, so don't be surprised,

BTW: There are copies of both games made using the traditional grey cartridge. They might be rare

There is no gold cartridge version of ALttP. There were for LoZ and AoL, none for ALttP or LA, and they brought it back for OoT.

OoT
MM

That's it.

I've never seen gold ones for LoZ AoL or OoT, but I did have the gold version of MM.

I've seen a gold oot and mm but nothing else and yeah there rare.

Actually, they aren't extremely rare. The gold cartridges signify version 1.0. If you have a gold OoT, then the Islamic symbol of a crescent moon with a star will show up everywhere in the Spirit Temple and on the Mirror Shield, the music of the Fire Temple will be the Shahadra, and it will have a few more glitches than other versions.
The gold MM isn't special. It's a game with relatively less obvious glitches than OoT (although there are many glitches), so they didn't fix a lot of them in later versions.

LoZ and AoL gold cartridges are just the earliest releases. They're more common than you think.

Weren't all Majora's Mask cartridges gold? I thought the only difference between "special" and other editions was that the special versions had a hologram on the sticker.

Really? I never heard that. Mine does have the holographic sticker, though. Can a picture be provided?

There was VERY rare gray carts, and the gold with Holo-graphic sticker was the collector's edition, and this was the normal, gold one.

Actually WW is sort of Gold cartridge well disk but still. At least in Europe it was.

I dug out my old games today and i have a golden copy of Aol.So is that rare?like how rare?like how much money rare?i also discovered i have three copies of super mario bros/duck hunt lolz.

my cousine had like all the gold cartridges for all zelda games that had them!!!

That isn't exclusive to 1.0. I have a grey cart with those.

My cousin has gold LoZ and AoL and I found the holographic version of the gold MM cart at a GameStop.
