Seam Walking

anyone tried it before? used it before? or do you even know what this is?

I did it in OoT one time... at that little mountain-like part near Hyrule Castle. Not very interesting.

correct! now explain to us what a seam is PLLZZZZ im trying to find a description but not having much luck.............

Anyway, seam walking. There are many "seams" in OoT. Seams are where two land structures come together and form a sharp angle. You can walk on some of these seams if you are very careful. For example, head to Gerudo Valley from Hyrule Castle. When you are near the Valley, you'll see two rock structures with fences on top. On the right one, there is a seam.

If you keep using C-up, you can slowly walk up this seam and grab the fence at the top. There are many other seams, though, although many of them will just lead you to the void.

i used to use them in MM and OOT for my speed runs

Just Google Zelda Chaos. It's a website (well, now it's a wiki) dedicated to Zelda glitches. They have a whole section dedicated to Seam Walking.

no you use coocoo jump or bomb hover glitch to get over gate. then seam walk to get ontop then you side jump to get get inside

I've managed to seam walk in OoT, in Hyrule Castle, Gerudo Valley, and Death Mountain. Death Mountain was frustrating as hell.

Now that I'm building my own terrains in Unreal Tournament 3 Editor, seams like that are just plain annoying. I have to be very careful about keeping certain areas inaccessible to hoverboard-riding players.
