Re: Majora's Mask coming for Virtual Console

Unless Nintendo do a bait and switch, it'll be in the next European VC/Wiiware update.

No way...it's coming to Europe tomorrow? Oh snap, I hope the States will have it next Monday.

Re: Majora's Mask coming for Virtual Console

I'm pretty hyped out about this. Not as much as if it was an actual Wii-based Zelda, but still pretty hyped.

Still, this means they've done two zelda-related things this year, which means we probably won't be getting Zelda Wii for a long while (maybe until late 2010 or something).

EDIT: ...hehehe, only 50 more posts to go (616 posts as of now)

I think she was joking. If it was announced for Europe to be released this soon, everyone would be at the news already.

Right after I shelled out most of my cash for the Zelda: Collector's Edition Disc-because the only game I wanted was MM.

IT'S ABOUT TIME, NINTENDO!

A guy I was talking to earlier also mentioned the PAL release date. He even linked to the page. Hold on.

http://www.nintendo.co.uk/NOE/en_GB/...ask_12147.html

There. Unless this is a late April Fool's Day prank, NOE messed up, or this is a bait and switch, MM will apparently come out on the PAL VC tomorrow.

(Note: the date is supposed to be read as day, month, year.)

For the people who have downloaded it so far: have you experienced significant lag anywhere yet (West Clock Town usually had lots in the CE version)?

No, it runs absolutely smooth so far. As good as the N64 version, but with sharper graphics of course. I'm really happy with it and I hope it there won't be any of those nasty freezes, that killed me off in late Kafei's quest on the CE version. Can't say anything about that so far, right now I'm at the observatory, but I guess, it will be alright.

Yep, the music is a bit erratic and jumps all over the place. Might be a direct port of the CE.

Are... You... Kidding... Me?

Well, that's a bummer, the music was one of the best parts of the game (I myself haven't played it but I remember when my dad played it. I liked the music).

Is this happening for anyone else? Are there any issues with the game freezing or something?

Now this is epic. Lack of freezing I mean.

What day was the European VC release? I want to update the Zelda wiki.

Edit: Hmmm.... I'm hoping it wasn't a direct CE release. I don't want to rely on the rom...

It froze! Since when does the game freeze when you're hunting down THE FREAKING BOMBERS!

Re: Majora's Mask coming for Virtual Console

Well it looks like nintendo lost $10 from me. Only reason I was planning on getting it was for less lag and no freezing. If its just CE all over again then I'll just stick with CE. I'll wait until I see some footage of stone tower to make a full decision but its not looking good .

....The hell with it....

They probably only did the direct port so that they would easily include the GCN controls.

Man this sucks. Well has anyone experienced data loss yet?

Re: Majora's Mask coming for Virtual Console

Well even though it has the same problems as the CE I'm still gonna get it since my N64 one was stolen long ago and I can't stand playing it on my laptop.
