Re: is mm to hard?

you should totally buy it! IZts an amazing game. Yes, it is in my opinion one of the hardest Zelda games, but the storyline of it is dark, and amazing. Also if you played Oot you will feel right at home anyway. So yes buy it buy it buy it!

Re: is mm to hard?

I wouldn't say MM is really hard. It will be a challenge if you don't know what you're doing, though. MM is a really good game, so yes, you should buy it. If you're worried about the difficulty level, buy a strategy guide.

:3 Have fun!

Re: is mm to hard?

The only reson its hard is if like me you like to take time figuring out puzzles because of the 3 day time limit, and how if you do not finish the temple by the 3 days you have to start over and remember what you did. But pretty good game favored by lots of people. buy and play.
Hope this was not over kill,.

If you believe in yourself, you can do it. It's the best Zelda game in my opinion, so you should definitely buy it. I don't think it was much worse than OoT in terms of difficulty.

Re: is mm to hard?

It IS an amazing game, collecting all the mask is the hard part because you basically need the strategy guide or you can just go on the internet now to find out how to do it. other than that it has a great story line, its the secondary side quest missions that make the game incredible though, and you get more connected to the NPCs

I concur. As long as you have faith in yourself, the fact that the temples can give you Evangelion level mind****s shouldn't be a problem.

srsly, do it, just try not to get jipped by your pal.

Definitely not too hard. Finding it challenging would be better, wouldn't it? I always find I like it when something gives me that little challenge.

Yes, the game is hard. Really really hard near the end. Does that mean it's bad? No.

Re: is mm to hard?

Depends, if you're really good at Zelda (solving puzzles quickly, can finish most adventures with few hearts, that sort of thing) then MM shouldn't be a problem.

It can be more difficult to grasp (what to do and how) since it doesn't have the same pattern as the other 3D Zeldas. The water temple is quite hard the first time, as mentioned before. As MM is a sequel to OoT, it is slightly harder - but not much.

The three day thing might put you off (I can't imagine why, but some people just don't like it!). Just remember to slow down the time, by playing the Song of Time backwards when you get it, and the days will be much longer.

Re: is mm to hard?

It isn't exactly hard. It's basically OoT with slight changes to the way you progress through the game. (Ex: 3 days, specific save points, etc.)

But it's a great game. I VERY highly recommend getting it.

Re: is mm to hard?

MM is a brilliant game.

If you're into sidequests and character development, MM is the game for you. Though it's not a long game, it definitely makes up with content. The atmosphere is more morbid and, I think, not as epic as OoT, but you end up learning all the bits and pieces, times and places, and peoples' lives thanks to the time system. Musically, I didn't find it all that impressive (I've always loved the music in LoZ games, but wasn't terribly moved by that in MM), though there are lovely details about the graphics are worth looking at, if you're into that kinda thing. One of the things I love most about MM is how much you change the lives of those in Termina which made, for me at least, an ending that was satisfactory.

As for difficulty, I honestly didn't find it that difficult. Sure, the time/saving system might take a bit to get your head around, but all in all it wasn't too bad. It's harder than OoT, but nothing I found super hard. Mind you, my younger sister thought it was quite difficult, but I think that has more to do with how long we've both been gaming for and being the old bat that I am, I've had a lot more experience.

All OoT comparisons aside, it's a fantastic buy and totally worth getting, though I honestly don't think it's for all LoZ fans. I've heard newbies complain it was too hard and oldies say it was way too different from the rest of the series. Though I'm an older fan, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Doesn't hurt to give it a go, so go on and try it out (:

Re: is mm to hard?

Not sure what your Zelda experience is, but MM is not overly difficult. It isn't simple though either. It is challenging and although it is my least favorite Zelda game, I'd still say buy it and give it a try.
