How Old Is Ocarina of time Young Link?
Remember he has to of gone in time 7 years ahead to become an adult.
So How old do YOU think he is?
I personally think he might be 12 or 13.

I have to say he is 9 or 10. Adult link did not seem like he was in his twenties. Also, would a 13 year old be 3-4 feet tall? ( Not saying there aren't in real life...)

A guide book I once owned said he was ten. Back in the middle ages, 16 was when a boy became a man. So a 17 year old Link would still be an adult.

In TWW, he's said to be 12 or 13, but also the same age as Young Link when he first embarked on his adventure. So that may confuse people about Young Link's age.

An age range of 10-13 would be fine, I believe.

I've heard this question a kabillion times, so Just for fun:

11 years old as a kid. 11 years old trapped inside an 18 year old body in the Future. This isn't a "sleep for 7 years but retain your child form", think of that old Disney Movie: Flight of the Navigator. I still have that on VHS, old school.

How Old is Young Link, how Young is Young Link, the Kokiri must have noticed him grow up from a baby to a Child at least, hmm? Baby Link must have gotten so picked on by Mido, yet adored by Saria. What were his first words, who was around when he started crawling and walking?

Toddler/Preschool Link definetely had an awareness of everyone being bigger than him, but of equal size. However, another question is, did the Great Deku Tree conceal him for 10-12 years and only reveal him to the Kokiri "Children" when he grew up to become their equal size?

This seems more likely, since Link saw Saria the Sage and then the Deku Tree Sprout right after, who revealed his true identity and the Kokiri's.

If not, then Link simply may not have noticed the Kokiri's constant body size if he indeed "grew up" with them, which is dumb. The Sprout is telling the story as if he is talking to us gamers.

Child = 11 years old

Adult = 18 years old.

How do you know he's 10 and not 11?

I always thought that adult Link was 17-18, so young Link was 10-11. He's kind od short for a 13 year-old.

I believe he was 10. I read somewhere that as an adult, he was 17. As for the height issue? Kokiri themselves are not magical. It is the water they drink. Link was a little small for his age, but that was due to the kokiri forest water. His growth picked up again when he was sealed in the temple of time. Had he remained in the forest, he may have truly become a Kokiri.

Id say hes 9 or 10 cause he looks like he might possibly be that age.

How do you know it's the water? I don't remember hearing this anywhere. The only water in Kokiri Forest comes down a small waterfall from the direction of the Lost Woods, from an area very close to the Zora's River warp pool. Which means, it's very likely that their water ultimately comes from Zora's Fountain, which is also the source of the Hylians' water since it flows by the castle town.

Where did you hear that? I've never heard of that, unless you read it in The Two Towers.

If it helps, from a full text dump of Ocarina of Time, the word "ten" occurs only twice: once in the explanation for the Bombchu Bowling Alley game, and once in the explanation for the Shooting Gallery game. The word "seventeen" does not exist anywhere in the game.

Um ya but the words "he was in there for 7 years" and therefore, if he was ten, seven years later he would be 17

Yes of course. But if it never says he was ten, because the word "ten" is not used outside of games, and it never says he was seventeen, then knowing that the span is 7 years long doesn't help, because we don't know the starting age, and we don't know the ending age.
