Question Regardless of gameplay/story, which of MM or OoT has the better soundtrack?

I think that MM has a better soundtrack than OOT - it sounds more deep and- the overworld theme is back with one of the best reworkings of any music that I have ever heard

Haven't played MM but OoT has a great soundtrack, I doubt MM could top it.

I voted for MM.
Most likely because of some specific parts.

I liked MM better. Just listening to some of the creepy music gives me the chills. And then there are those really epic tracks, like the Deku Palace. And then...there's the Milk Bar song.

I picked MM because the Majoras Wrath's song is really cool. Also I like Stone Tower, Great Bay Temple and clocktown day 2.

haha, I was about doing the same (replying with caps lock).

I liked MM better, I think it has a quite better music than OoT, and the music always give the correct mood.

OOT has better music imo, even though I like MM a lot better. And OOT has more music and music you can remember

I voted MM!
As much as I love the music of Oot (especially gerudo valley!), I have to say that MM's soundtrack creates much more emotion and fits the game's atmosphere perfectly!

As good as MM's music is, I dont think it can beat the perfect atmosphere of OoT's soundtrack.

MM.

I think MM was the 2nd game I ever played, (SM64 being first, OoT 3rd) and I was just blown away by it... It's really creepy, and sometimes even makes you stop and listen for a bit. Masterpeiced.

Re: Regardless of gameplay/story, which of MM or OoT has the better soundtrack?

They both have wonderful soundtracks.

I would say OOT without a doubt, but I just can't deny that MM's songs fit so well with the atmosphere of the game. The Last End song is awesome, and the Clock Town's sense of urgency as the days go by really helps make the game what it is. There are several other songs that help the atmosphere as well.

It's too hard for me to decide.

Well, I said in my first post that it was MM - and I now have another reason to think this - the stone towers music is awesome!
