I think its exhaggerated how annoying Navi is. Everyone is always "I HATE NAVI AHHH!!! WHAT WERE THEY THINKING"

Yes, Navi was annoying sometimes...But it really didnt get to my head...and Navi actually helped me sometimes.

I actually think the most annoying thing in OoT was the beeping when you have low life energy.

Navi wasn't annoying at all for me. I don't know about some, they're just overreacting on most things. Like my friends sister, she thinks her family are crazy and wicked, when in fact it is obvious she herself is not on the earth. Heh.

Ugh! Stupid Navi, she was very annoying in OoT. I just hated her in the begining of the game where she tells you how to climb a ladder or opening a door. Also, whenever she wants to talk to you I would just ignore her. WW was a relief, no annoying faries.

Actually, I'd rather have a fairy partner and not some King disguised as a boat. Who can disguise themselves as a boat, I know most of you would say magic, but come on; that is one lame idea Nintendo thought up. Now, don't get me wrong. The King of Red Lions didn't bother me at all. Its just the idea. Thats why I like ALttP, no fairy partners and no kings disguised as talking boats!

I have to agree with XLinkX, the beeping when Link's life is low can get to you. How come no one complains about that?

It was a cool idea to have a fairy as a partner, but I don't like her. In the beginning I didn't have a problem since I didn't know what to do. But when you now what to do you hate to read through all her naging. I used her sometimes for lighting in dark places.

She is annying in the beginning because she stops you so many times, but I like her. I agree with Forest deity about TKoRL. I wish they didnt take her out of TWW. A fairy is cooler than an arrow...

I think Scear is talking about the arrow that appears over people, signs, etc. in the WW. I agree, I miss Navi alerting me to people I can talk to. But I do not miss her nagging me to go to the next dungeon, especially since she usually does it after I am already in the dungeon.

With Navi around Link had someone to talk to, The King of Red Lions is always seriouse when he talked it got annoying. I'f I was on an adventure I would want someone interesting to talk to.

I think Navi was a valuable asset to OoT. She was very helpful. The only thing that annoyed me, as with most people, was the fact that she kept nagging you at the begging of the game, telling you how to do certain things. Like in the Deku Tree, for example: Telling you how to open a door? What is that?

But other than that, she was perfectly fine. She gave some interesting info about your enemies. At least with her, I knew what my enemies where called. In WW I had no idea what the names of all the monsters where.

I'm not complaining about the whole game though. Just that one thing.

Moved to N64 Zelda.

I really don't think Navi was that annoying. It's just fun to pick on her.
But CURSE the stupid life meter!

Navi, I lub her! She is cute! though i did want to take my sward out some times and bash her on her tiny little head but all and all she was fun! The life meter is a pain! I know I have low health! *goes crazy from the beeping* nooo!
*catches Navi and kisses her then takes out a rubber sword and bashes her*

Navi was my light in the dark. Anoying? That's not what i was thinking when i entered a Cave with ReDeads and Poe's... Nope, she was a great company!

And, low health was enyoing... but i don't care thats tradition in the Zelda games. That's is what i think....

Even though... when i play the gane for the second time... she is a pain in the ass. :p

Navi means nothing to me. SHe rarely annoys me, but then again, I don't find her useful or nice to have around either.

The only thing I really liked about her was how she could give the enemies names for you.

I think the LoZ creators should have added an option for players who know how to play so that Navi doesn't give you the beginners advice. I think with at least that, most of you who dislike Navi would like her a bit more (well maybe). I still like Navi. Also, even though I like Tatl (MM), she seemed to complain more than Navi. I mean at least Navi gave you good advice not like Tatl who tried to ignore you.

I liked Tatl, heh.

tatl had spunk.. and a personality... navi... was nintendos way of teaching you how to play and giving you info that you really could have lived without.. with a few excepts.. but hey.. wth... if u cant figure it out.. try harder... Tatl.. she didnt really explain too many things, but she did.

The first time I played OOT I liked Navi, but after that she was annoying. I still yell "SHUT UP!" at the TV when she says "HEY!" I agree they should have put an option to turn off the beginner's advice, that, and to make the Owl go away. That stupid owl is more annoying cos' you can't ignore him, he automatically stops you. Tatl is awesome. She goes "ding" when she has something to say instead of yelling at you. She also has a cooler personality. I like her attitude problem, it's funny.
