Agahnim a Shiekah?

I'm not positive on this one, and I hadn't noticed before because I haven't played aLttP in a long time, but if you look, Agahnim has the Shiekah emblem on his clothing.

Yes, that's true. I thought I was the only one to notice that.
He could very well be a Sheikah who took the wizarding path, then took the Ganon-worshipping path...

Yeah, that could always be a possibility. The identity of Agahnim is very controversial however, and I doubt we'll see anything that will clear up the confusion.

Yeah, I see now that it's not really the same.. the Shiekah emblem was the Lens of Truth, and Agahnim's little emblem doesn't have the lens handle.

No, Impa wasn't in "The Wind Waker".

Well, a picture of Impa was. Seeing as how she's a sage she appeared as a stain glass window picture in the Hyrule Castle Basement, and her eyes look exactly like that.

Yes, they do resemble each other, but the symbols in Ganondorf's room and on Agaham's clothing could be different variations. Oh, and the thing under the eye isn't a lens handle, it's a tear.

I always looked at it as a drop of blood... called it the bleeding eye symbol for the longest time...

But looking at it as the Lens of Truth works great, IMHO. Makes sense too.

Wasn't that a fan-fic on this site (untill the hacker-accident) who telled the (sad) story about the Sheikah Agahnim were fooled to help Ganon out of the Dark World, and Ganon used arguments like helping him would allow Agahnim to get revange for all the crimes the Hylians have done against the Sheikah.

That could very well be true that Agahnim is a Sheikah, but I had thought that all the Sheikah (besides Impa) were all killed during the Imprisoning War. Correct me if I'm wrong on my information, but I thought Impa was the only Sheikah survivor in Hyrule.

The Sheikah may still be alive, they are very good at hidding in the shadows. As for the symbol I read in the OOT manga that the tear is present only on the Sheikah who were for some reason betrayed by the royal family. But there of course is a differance of opinion on wether we should take the manga seriously.

Agnahim could have killed a sheikah, and stole clothes, or is impersonating one...but all we can do is speculate...

I don't think Miyamoto even thought up th Sheikah yet so its pretty obvios that it could be yes or no. We'd have to ask Miyamoto himself for this answer.

The Sheikah were extinct before Againheim was born in my opinion. He is a wizard and wizards wear robes.

No, it hink you're right. Never crossed my mind, but still... not that it has much bearing on this discussion, unless one of us can translate Egyptian heiroglyphs?
