What happends betwen OoT and MM?

in the end of OoT Link gives Zelda the Ocarina of Time and she make them both kids again. But what's next? I mean, you can see that Link is bigger and better in MM than he is when he's a kid in OoT, os there i gona be a couple of ages betwen the games, and what does Link do under that time? Run around in Hyrule and having fun? Or is he training all day long? Wright what you think.

I think that between OoT and MM, Link was just searching for Navi across Hyrule, then (I'm not sure, I think this is how it is) fell down a hole while looking in the Lost Woods for her, to a land in danger.

Well, he was searching for Navi when MM began, but so what? Anything could have happened before then. For example, he could not possibly have been searching for Navi when he went to say farewell to Zelda.

well Navi leaves him in the Temple of Time in the end, so there is posible that he is searching for Navi, and then he gets confused and come to Termina

Mabye link was searching everywhere in Hyrule and finally decided to leave and go into a new land to search for Navi.

Maybe he does nothing??

Maybe he rides off on his horse from hyrule. I remember a clip in MM that is a flashback, showing link riding away from hyrule as Zelda watches him leave. Maybe wat happens between is he rides his horse for awhile.

Maybe he was warped to the future where he was genetically enhanced to be strong and stuff. Then he was accidentally sent back to Termina instead of Hyrule. Thene he was searching for the scientist that genetically enhanced him so he could inflict pain on him for no good reason.

Something tells me what happens is a series of inconsequential events. If it mattered, we'd know. Zelda's story isn't some mystery with a million plot holes left to be filled in numerous sequels, like Metal Gear Solid's We can assume that Link simply lived his life, likely not in the castle, but as a Kokiri, because since he was sent back in time to his childhood, and he didn't have permission to be around in the first place.

Now, as to what happens after Majora's Mask, that's something different. Let's just say he went off and died, because that's likely as close an answer as we'll get.

I agree with SearanoX. If it really mattered, Nintendo probably would have given us that information or left us a game about it. But to go with what this thread is about, I'll post a little theory.

I think that, since he was sent back to his childhood, Link simply lived his life as a child in Kokiri forest and relaxed a bit after saving Hyrule. But then, eventually (heh heh) , he realized that Navi was missing and set out to find her. And thus, ended up in Termina where he saved the people from a falling moon.

I suppose my theory doesn't quite work. I think Link would have realized Navi was missing right away rather than "eventually". I'm not a very a very good therorist, I'm afraid.

Actually, I'm guesing things carried on as usual, until Link gets a flash back, and then goes in search.

but why was he searching for Navy in the first place since he knew that she would only be his partner for beating ganon and bringing peace after that she would return to the deku tree which its her master...maybe we'll get some flash back in TP and get more answers...

after OOT link LEAVES HYRULE while his search for a friend, it could be navi, it could be someone he doesnt know, it could be anything.
in MM he's just a few weeks older than in OOT, look at epona, she's also just like when she was young in OOT.
oke you can cary your hylian shield in a normal way right now, but while link isnt older he has become stronger.

I always thought this made sense: the last thing you should do in a videogame, especially a franchise with sequels et al, is screw around with time, because it just messes things up. But anyway, after Zelda played the Song of Time on the Ocarina and made them both children again, I assume the seven years until Ganon's demise took place but obviously without Ganon there to destroy everything. So during this time, Link had to be somewhere. During the original run he was sealed away for seven years, but I think the second time round, he went to Termina, as he couldn't be in Hyrule, as, you know, he didn't exist sort of thing? It's so confusing, and you kind of have to be in my head to understand it, but it makes sense to me.

I think, that he did all the stuff you do as a child in OoT, than pull out the master sword, and in the 7 years he is `sealed` away, he isn't really sealed away, but the Sages, or Zelda, just drop him off in termina and telling him to find a friend.
But not just normally telling, but to his sort of 'inner' self, so he's not concious of what he searches.
It's just a whole set up by the Sages or Zelda to make link stronger so he can fight Ganondorf better.
Then when he did his quest in Termina, The Sages or Zelda get him back, delete 7 years of memory, and he live his life further in hyrule fighting ganondorf and stuff.
After defeating Ganondorf, he got send back in time by Zelda. They both turn into child again, Link does everything till the first meeting with Zelda.
Zelda send them both back in time, so she remembers. She tells him not to get the two other spiritual stones. And Link can just live his normal life at the Kokiri's, and when he finds out he can turn old, he leaves.
I can't think any further, couse than i will just really make things up.
