Ocarina of Time 100% fully completed

I can now finally say after all these years of owning Ocarina of Time that I've done everything official in it. Caught the Hylian Loach, got the Gold Scale, best quiver and bombbag, all Golden skulltulas, etc.

I did do all this ages ago, it's just that today was the day I bothered to look for the Hylian Loach. Found it quickly and caught it on my first try.

I suppose I could've done this ages ago when the game was quite new and I was active with it, but it doesn't really matter anyway.

Wow congratulations. Although I haven't done this yet I'm pretty darn close. I got everything EXCEPT for the Hylian Loach, but I'm too lazy to even try and catch it. I might just reconsider that though...

Well anyways congrats again.

What happens if you do actually catch the Hylian Loach?

You catch the heaviest fish, and depending on the situation you will
get the gold scale which will enable you to to dive the deepest. Thats
about it. It's just a cool little extra I guess.

Re: Ocarina of Time 100% fully completed

Well, my first time was today, a few hours ago. And it's not really that hard to catch, but the problem is that you need the sinking lure and you need to make the lure end up right in front of its nose, otherwise it will not react. Heck, you can't even target it. I noticed once or twice that you could, but it lasts for a short time.

Anyway, I had already caught a 19 pound fish before all that, so I had won the Gold Scale. After that I caught a 22 pound fish and won a Piece of Heart. After all that you can only win a purple Rupee, which is 50 Rupees.

Re: Ocarina of Time 100% fully completed

I caught a big enough fish to earn the gold scale but i never did find the lure.

Where is it? Does it appear in a speech bubble saying you have found it or do you pick it up automatically?

Re: Ocarina of Time 100% fully completed

It says on www.cheatcc.com that it can be found on many different places, but for all these years I've only found it in the exact same spot, which is where the water from the crack in the wall meets the river. In that spot you can see like a white half-circle in the water. In that half-circle I have found the lure over and over. And first I believe it says "Whoa!" or "Wow!" when you stumble upon it, then you see Link holding it up with two hands while it floats around with that usual tune you hear when you've found a new item. You can choose to use it or throw it away.

What it does is make even the largest of fishes jump on the hook/bait quite quickly, and it also sinks to the bottom which is great for seeing the fishes better.

If you kill all 100 Golden Skulltulas, then every time you enter the Skulltula House & talk to the guy in the center of the house, he gives you a Golden Rupee, 200 Rupees. But getting the Skulltulas is mostly for bragging rights because you can kill the Skullkid in the Lost Woods & get a big Rupee every time.

i never bothered with those sort of things, i'm too lazy. one day i will though. I've tried catching the hylian loach. Lemmi just say, to avoid embarassment, i really really really suck at fishing! BTW, the biggest fish i ever caught was 20 pounds. i didn't think you could go higher than that!

The 2nd time i didnt i used the Skultullas Glitchmakes it much easier.

100 skulltulas easy
You can get all 100 Gold Skulltulas easily. Get bombs, boomerang, and make sure you have the song of storms. Go to Hyrule castle and go to where Talon was sleeping. There should be a tree in the corner. Play the song of storms and go through the hole. Bomb the walls until you find the one with the Gold Skulltula. Z-target it and use your boomerang. As soon as your boomerang touches the Token backflip into the light. If done correctly you should hear the noise and maybe a few words will pop up but you will surface. Repeat until you have 100+ Skulltulas.
