Sheik (a little spoiler)

I think sheik is a boy and Zelda is a girl.
Anyway I heard this on some site that I can't remeber right now:
It said that in Japan Sheik was considered a boy, and here Sheik is more considered a girl. I have no clue why though I'll try to find the site I heard it on.

I don't see why Zelda would even want to dress as Shiek anyways. That'd be very uncomfortable.*Points to the chest.*

Here's something to change everyone's minds that think Shiek is a male. I looked in the instruction booklet for my Super Smash Bros. Melee game and the little bio it has for each character. Under Sheik's name it says: A mysterious warrior whose moves allow 'her' to flow across battlefields.

My vote stands clear Sheik is a female. Same as Zelda.

Well, more people in Japan are in to that whole bishounen-ai garbage.

I seriously believe Shiek is a male, and Zelda magically transformed her body in to a male form (not truly a man, but... you know, shaped like one. Heh.). Why else would she need Impa's help? The average person can probably find a way to make themselves look manly on their own without Shiekah help.

She's a obviously a female. She IS Zelda! Do you even know what a Shiek is?
"Sheikian Tribe" A tribe of people that have magical skills. Why do you think she is a guy? Impa is one of the "bigger Shieks" is a girl and tought Zelda how to be a Shiek. Zelda dressed/deskises herself in a Shiekian suit so that Ganon wont know it is her. If you are desprate to know, then look at the was she stands. she has her hip out. Look at her freaken crotch if necisssary! (I think I said too mutch)

i have always wondered about that guestion, i guess sheik should be a female sense she is zelda, but mabey the triforce of wisdom can change phisycal features of yourself, i think the onley people that know the answer to that queston is ejie aonouma and shigeru miyamoto

She is trying to pass as a guy. But she still is a girl. If I put a dress on and dress up like a woman, I'm still a guy.

I really don't understand because in Super Smash Bros. Melee, Shiek was female, however, in Ocarina of Time, he was male (stated in OoT). Hmm...

There you go. She transforms and seems male, although she has to have disguised her voice, possibly because her voice doesn't transform, so she just disguises it.

If you never knew Sheiks real identity, then it would be fine to call the character male or female.... But since after playin OoT we all know that Sheik is actually Zelda in disquise, it's only correct to refer to sheik as a female, because zelda is a female.

I think it can go either way. Sheik is really Zelda, and Zelda is female. However, if you look at official OoT art of Sheik, the chest looks pretty masculine to me, but the posture does look slightly feminine. I'm guessing that Zelda has Impa help her transform into a male.

What? A tomboy is a girl who acts like a guy. You're just called boy if you're that. If you're able to be a girl or boy, you've got issues.

I always thought Sheik was a girl from the start, not knowing she was princess Zelda though, but when Ruto said thank "him" I was like o_0 "Whaaa??" Then I found out "he" was Zelda and was like....-_- lol...

Zelda is a tomboy as the gossip stone says so she could easily pretend to be a guy I guess but NO she is not male when she is in the Sheikah outfit...She's female

Also, that Ruto thing, I don't thing she is stupit.
She says also, that she can sense that Zelda is alive.

I believe that Shiek is a female. the same as Zelda. And as the gossip stone said, Zelda is a tomboy. So, she can change into a mans body and possibly with a mans voice as well.

Impa used her own magic to transform Zelda into a sheikah boy. So although Sheik may still be Zelda (female), Sheik was intended to be a male. Sheik is male (hello, its magic people) and Zelda is female...of course that would be a little awkward the first time Zelda transforms and is all "whats this"...lol...sorry, thats just wrong...lol

look at sheiks body structure...its that of a boy/mans and so what if his voice sounds girlish he seems to be about the same age as link and i know some guys with slightly higher voices....
