Writing in the Ocarina of time

Hey the writing on all the signs in the game do you think that is based on real ancient writing? They should make a translator that shows which letter each symbol stands for. That would be neat.

I beleive they already have one. Im not sure but I think I saw one. You need to put more thought in your work before you post a thread

I looked i couldn't find one, they had one for Halo 2 so i thought they might have one for zelda

Dont they transelate any important stuff in the game anyways? but, it would be cool if it was a real language.... then we could use it, and confuse people

Hylian translates directly to Japanese, but not English. I don't know much else on it, though. You could likely find a translation somewhere...GameFAQs or Zelda Legends, perhaps.

Check that page out. It tells you the translations/sound for Hylian lettering. However, it is true that Hylian translates to Japanese... so you won't find any Enlish meaning in whatever you translate, probably.

The sign in Karkarico Graveyard translates to Karkarico Rain from Hylian to Japanese and then to english.
