To all the Majora's Mask fans out there:

I dunno about you guys, but we need more info. Who the heck is The Fierce Deity, who are the Garo, and especially Majora itself. Although widely speculated that Majora is connected to the Twilight, the question how still remains... I probably won't be satisfied at death is Majora's Mask doesn't get anymore explanation. My most favorite Zelda Game Ever!

Personally, I find part of the game's charm is in the mystery. You get the feeling that so many things are ancient, and their origins are lost in the deeps of time, which gives the whole land of Termina an aura of mystery and unfathomable age.

It's all the result of a concussion and some acid. Link did a couple hits, got all ♥♥♥♥ed up, fell off the horse and got a concussion and in his acid trip woozyness he imagined all sorts of crazy funky ♥♥♥♥.

Seriously...it's like people want games to tell them every little detail in regards to where everything is from/who everyone is etc.

Imagination, my friends, is the best thing we have. Don't let it go to waste.

As I've said before,In MM 2 [Japan only] the Giants created them as guardians, but they were arch enemy's and were competing for favorites. Majora became a thief while FD became basically a god. He demanded sacrifices and such. Being failures they were punished and turned into masks

Do people actually believe in MM2? Sheesh, ya'll. I think I actually lost brain cells from hearing that.

Yeah I definitely agree with this the mystery really adds to the game. Personally it's probably my favorite Zelda game... so many good memories!

I think I read somewhere that Termina was created when the power of the Gods slipped through a crack in time. I geuss that explains some of the weird stuff we see in the game but I don't think we are ever going to get an explanation for Termina. They haven't revisted it at all since MM.

I don't know, I thought I read it on Zeldapedia or Zelda Wiki. Yeah, I wish we would get an explanation too.

When do Zelda games ever give a lot of detail?

Those are some great theories there.... but is it just out imagionation?

Majora's Mask leaves much to the imagination, like it or not. That's the charm of the game.

Well the Majora was a demon from Termina. The fierce deity is a God that try to stop Majora. The Garos are the Terminan counterpart of the Sheikah a ninja race who must members are dead and their in the verge of extinction.
