Best Moments in A Link To the Past

In your opinion Universe, what were the best moments in A Link to the Past? (I want to know for a video project)

Moved to appropriate board.

When you could finally enter the dark world without turning into a flipping bunny. Tossing a random item into a fountain and getting a better red version out. Smacking foos with the hammer. Using the magic cape anytime. That's all I can think of for now, I'm actually playing through the game again and I'll let you know when I come across the "best moments."

Entering the dark world for the first time as a bunny was a great moment. I mean you've felt like you've done a lot in the game by that point and the game probably won't go on much longer because after the next dungeon you are gonna go fight Aganihm. Yet it showed that there was much more to this game to be shown yet. And then when you finally full on go into the dark world as Link, ♥♥♥♥ that was epic.

I think successfully saving Zelda in the first 15 minutes and getting through the sewers was a pretty good moment. Others would be the angering moment where Aganhim zaps Zelda into the Dark World, and the part where you discover that the pretty Maiden is, in fact, Blind the Thief.

When I was young me, my brother, and friend were lost in the ice palace and couldn't figure out what we were doing wrong and calling bombos fireworks and running around yelling "I'M G THE WANTED MAN" (I'd mistakenly named myself that.)

Finally getting to the boss in the Ice Palace. I found the Ice boss to be one of the easier ones in the game but getting there isn't by any means easy. There are alot of puzzling obstacles and backtracking.

welp...you said all i was going to say in this thread.

i have so much nostalgia for this game. if i were to add anymore to the above list, i would say getting the flippers from king zora, the fairy fountains where you get your equipment upgraded, and the flute playing boy.

Getting the Master/Golden Sword were two of the best parts for me

also, sequence breaking by simply getting the dungeon item and then using the mirror to warp back to the Dark World dungeon entrance, then leaving to go to the next dungeon

so much fun using the Gold Sword against Blind

getting the master sword was one of the best parts of the game tbh

--Killing Mothula
--Chasing Ganon through the sky,
--Drawing the Master Sword
-- Your Uncle Recovers *sword pose*
--- And the Master Sword Sleeps: FOREVER!

And what do you know? It really did sleep forever. heh!

For me it would ahve to be getting the Master Sword and then the battle with Agahnim (forgive any misspelling on my part).

I love how Aghanim sends Zelda to the Dark World, especially since for me his hands seem to be always moving in sync with the music.

My game just loves me more than you.

For me the two greatest moments were:

First seeing the Dark World atop the Pyramid of Power right after Agahnim sends you there. The music, the epic scene of Death Mountain on the horizon behind you, it's the point in the game where you know it's only really beginning.

The TF talking to you after defeating Ganon, and finally making the best wish that has ever been wished come true. (though SS and AoL Link had some pretty good wishes. Boo king Daphnes!)

A third would be getting the MS, but that's been mentioned and pretty obvious.

My favorite moment of A Link to the Past was being greeted by a 16-bit rendition of the classic overworld theme after leaving the Sanctuary early on in the game. It's my all-time favorite video game composition.

The whole credits theme is also excellent.

The best moment in ALttP was when you turn on the game, the triforce pieces do their little spinning thing, then the name title comes, music comes, and then the sword appears. Just give you chills to your spine when you are about to push start.

Hey, you're right! I forgot all about that! That is the best moment.

-Breaking the barrier of Ganon's Tower.
-Seeing Ganon's spirit rise out of Agahnim's lifeless body

-That extra confidence boost I got when using my upgraded weapons to against [formerly] difficult foes. I particularly enjoyed using the Silver Arrows in Ganon's Castle to defeat the Armos Knights and all of the former bosses.

Link exiting the Sanctuary for his epic adventure. Dat music!

Going into the Dark World for the first time. I mean the time you become a bunny. Dat music is just eerie and awesome.

Beating Agahnim and going to the Dark World to start the second leg of the adventure.
