What order do you beat the OoT temples in?

I usually like to do the temples in the order that Sheik mentions their locations--Forest, Fire, Water, Shadow, Spirit. When I'm feeling contrary, I'll do them in a totally bizarre order, something like what Ningan the Lone Ninja mentioned. The only exception is that I always get the Biggoron's Sword as soon as I can. I go through the Ice Cavern to get the blue fire before any other dungeon.

i just do the regular order lol. never EVEN thought to do em in any different order.
like in AlttP I do 1 4 2 3 4 5 6 7 .... so i can get the sword....but I will tell you this. AS soon as I am an adult in OoT I get the goron knife

You do temple #4 twice?

In OoT I do:
-Forest
-Water
-Fire
-Shadow
-Spirit

Reason being - I dislike the water temple the most so I try to get that out of the way, and the spirit temple is my favourite so i leave it until last

I do it the standard order
Forest, Fire, Water, Shadow, Spirit
Shadow before Spiriy, pretty much because I heeded Navi and looked for someone who might know about it in kakariko village.

Then spirit because Navi tells you to search the desert after you complete the shadow temple.
I way always confused as to why Navi order and the Medallion order was different. Heck on my first time I didn't even know you could use the longshong sh0t to cross the first trial on my first try.

Always complete them in that order. I used to think I was doing it wrong since the medallions and songs put Spirit before Shadow. But It's never made me change my order.

That's usually how I beat it. Since they screwed up and had Spirit go before Shadow, I get the Hover boots, then I leave the Shadow Temple, and head to the Spirit Temple.

I've always done them in the original order
Forest, Fire, Water, Shadow, Spirit.
I think it's a nice order and I've never seen the point of even changing them up.

Ice cavern > fire > forest > water > spirit > shadow

Forest > Fire > Water > Spirit > Shadow

It's kind of funny, that would mean a part of oot's succes was based on luck. The luck that players generally decided to do shadow before spirit.

Some people might have gone to kakariko for bugs or rupees or something maybe clues.

The Fire Temple can be completed after the Water Temple and even after the Spirit Temple, but not after the Shadow Temple (Forest, Fire and Water must be completed to learn the Nocturne of Shadow in Kakariko). Also, the combination of Din's Fire (to enter the middle tower) and a small bomb-boosting trick (to reach the ledge where you raise the water level) allows you skip two keys (guarded by eye switches) and thus complete the Water Temple without ever entering the Forest Temple for the Fairy Bow.

I just love to save Shadow Temple for last :p

Before I answer, I will clarify all debates on what order you are able to do the temples in. As long as you get the Goron Tunic, you can do Fire Temple first. You don't need the arrows for it at all. Water Temple does require arrows (there's an eye switch) but you can just get them and exit the temple before beating the boss. You could also do the Water Temple before even entering Fire Temple. To enter the Shadow Temple, you must have beaten the Water Temple so that the house will be on fire, but nothing else. Shadow and Spirit are interchangeable.

Personally, I go Forest, Fire, Water, Shadow, Spirit. It just seems like the logical order.

That's actually not enough, you do need Forest and Fire medallions for that too. You're right about everything else.

I'm not real picky, but I mix it up occasionally. I like to do the Spirit Temple early. That requires getting Sheik out of the pedestal's path by completing Forest Temple and the Longshot.

I always did it Forest, Fire, Water, Shadow, Spirit because I figured that was the proper order. OR rather, the only order you could potentially do them in.

I have never done it out of standard order, I think i am going to next time I play OOT, although I have no desire really too.
