Least Favourite Ocarina of Time Boss

At first it was awesome because she was the first one, then I played the others and released she wasnt that great. Although Barinade comes a close second.



My favourite was Phantom Ganon purely for the creepy and original picture elements...it was good to have a boss battle with a slightly sombre fear atmosphere. Reading the comments in this thread I seem to be alone in this thought.

I suddenly realized that if there's votes for all the bosses listed here, all of them must suck.

But that holds true for all games so...bosses suck in general!

Had to go with Twinrova. She's too easy to be the final dungeon boss. I mean, Gohma and King Dodongo were easier, but at least they have the excuse of being the first two bosses in the game.

Well I was fooled by Twinrova! I thought that noise the Mirror Shield was something like a meltdown alarm and avoided using it for a long time! SHE ALMOST KILLED ME AS A RESULT.

Depends what kind of strategy you're better with to determine which bosses are easier/difficult though...like Bongo Bongo seems difficult, but once you figure out the pattern of attack, he's DEAD.

Volvagia was just a larger version of whack-a-mole

Phantom Ganon was the trickiest. Couldn't always re-direct to the other picture in time, but it wont matter if he can't hit you!

Barinade is a reason to keep moving

King Dodongo should've just learned to spit rather than suck it all in first!

I suppose what is sort of sad is that their pattern doesn't really advance. Phantom Ganon and Twinrova are kinda like two battles.

I find that Phantom Ganon was the toughest too. Not that it was actually challenging...just that in his second phase since he's constantly moving around and changing the spacing between you two, it can sometimes take a while to score a hit.

Who could hate Volvagia?!?!?!?!?! Anyway, my least favorite bosses were Barinade (however you spell it), and Morpha.

My least favorite is probably Morpha. Interesting enough concept, but just a boring look.

When it comes to favorite, it's easily Phantom Ganon. Just loved the whole creepy atmosphere.

I have to admit, Phantom Ganon's fireworks charge attack was the flashiest thing on the N64. I think the fast-paced theme hit you like a roller coaster in a creepy temple.

Volvagia was one of the most challenging ones when I first played

and if you're talking about AoL Volvagia, that can be tricky as misstepping/mis-jumping = DEATH

Morpha was ridiculously anticlimactic. As I heard another user say once, a serpent or something would have been more fitting.

Hmmm... Probably Morpha, it just doesn't really stick out to me compared to some of the other bosses.

Gohma. She's too easy. I like a challenge, otherwise the game's no fun.
