Found out something ackward

Heya, I was playing Majora's mask on my N64
I think I found out something that, nobody ever found out before.
I can't really find anything about it on the net.
I was walking around collecting money, I miss 2 pieces of heart to get em all.
So I'm just hopelessly loafing around trying to find another one.
Anyways, being at the 100 rupee chest at the bomber's secret route to the observatory, I thought lets make fun and look through the telescope at the labratory.
So I did. Then I noticed something I never saw before.
I don't know if the time matters, but I was at the labratory at 7:10 am on the first day.
You must NOT zoom in at the Skull Kid.
When you look above at the 2nd pillar from the right at the Ikana entrance,
you see a bird flying above the moutaintops.
And I was like, HUH? There no single monster on this whole view but there is a bird? So I followed it hoping something was behind it.
It flew towards the skull kid and then started to fly right at you,
but it changes its route and finally goes to the Ikana entrance.
I noticed the scale of the bird was 10 times bigger then an ordinairy bird.
Besides that was the bird dropping red rupees while it was flying.
So yeah, right now I have no clue what it means, am I supposed to follow the bird and find something special?

This sounds very interesting, I'm making a list of all enemies in the game, including enemies that dont attack such as this and the one that drops rupees. I'll check it out right now.

Hate to burst your bubble, but I've seen that bird before. Don't follow the bird. It attacks you when you are out in Termina field.

I have no idea which bird you mean, but the only bird I can associate to rupees with in MM is the Takkuri who attacks you for them.

Does it look familiar?

There is a random bird that does circle Clock Town and it doesn't follow you, or attack you. But I doubt its that bird. And their is one by Milk Road, but that just steals your stuff. But you do get money if you kill it.


But I agree with Papahl, what did it look like?

Sounds cool. All I thought was Takkuri though.

I hate the Takkuri's! It's so annoying, I used to think it could only take my Rupee's, and then one day the stupid bird decides to take my damn sword! One of the most annoying creatures in the Zelda games.

The takkuri isn't visible from the telescope place, plus its in the opposite direction from Ikana. >_>

It's actually a giant Guay (crow) indeed, it's an exact copy of the bird flying around the castle walls but 10 times bigger.
If you have Ocarina Of Time, like when you attack a bunch of crows (which are called Guay's)
and then a giant one appears? That's exactly thesame bird that was spotted through the observatory. And it is just randomly flying there dropping ruppees!

Please if you have the game, just do exactly what I did and you'll see for yourself.
And when he goes to the entrance of the Canyon its like half the size of the pillars near the entrance. That is why it must be giant. You must gaze through the telescope to see it.

I completely forgot about these kind of crow birds. But a giant big one in MM? I'mma check it out. :3

The most important thing is, that he flies to ikana right above the ground where you can walk.
It is like obviously flying to SOMEWHERE. I just have no clue where it could be?
For me, it could be related to anything.
So that is the puzzle I would like to figure out.
The red ruppees that he drop are giant as well, but strangely equal to 20 ruppees.

There is 2 of these crows! There's also one flying from the right side of the pink moutain with the ring cloud from the swamp. This one flies REALLY close and but doesn't drops some ruppees. He dissapears at thesame spot as where it came from.

This... this is true. It's a large Guay (probably about two times larger than usual). If you look towards Ikana and look up towards the mountains, one comes out. Like she said, it drops one red rupee. If you look towards Woodfall, another one comes out that is the same size. However, unlike what she said, it does drop a red rupee (it's just too close to the telescope for you to see it drop one). I do not believe that the time of day matters. Once you go out to Termina Field, you can collect both red rupees. Wow... I never knew about this before, though (and I know a lot about this game).

Edit: Err, my bad.

I'm a she, and the first one drops 2 ruppees. And 2 times larger? Its half the size of the pillar of Ikana. Its 2 times bigger then link! But my point is, there MUST be a meaning behind them! They aren't there just randomly, specially because the first one, it could fly anywhere but it goes flying on a level where you can walk and goes straight into the Ikana entrance? Also, this ain't just a video. Once you've seen him flying gone, it stays gone. But what the hell o-O
Also, I have this game since 2000 so yeah it also suprised me.

Oh, I apologize for my mistake. Also, you are right. The first one drops two rupees. The second one does do nothing. Also, it's probably more like three times as big as a normal Guay now that I look at it more closely. However, they're probably just there as little secrets and nothing more. I'll go ahead and check to see if they change anything, though just in case.

Edit: Nothing is changed in Ikana nor is anything changed on the road to Ikana.

I know, but I have this feeling there MUST be something I mean it looks so obvious.
Going to a road and the other one flying over there just to circle...?
It's just TO weird.

How can't you find it? Gaze through the telescope look at the right side of pink mountain of the swamp.
Also when you look at the pillars of the Ikana side, look above it there is BLACK mountains,
the bird will also come up there between the moutains.
I can't see how you can miss it,
it must APPEAR it's not already there when you look.

Well if this bird drops red rupees then I can easily make the connection. The guy who takes over the shop temporary talks about this crow(s) and climbs up a tree to get these rupees.
Now I know where it came from and I'll check it out myself.
