Do the Great Fairies from OoT freak anyone else out?

Their laugh strikes me as sounding evil, they appear out of nowhere the way monters do, they have freaky pointy boobs...

Anyone else think they're frightening?

From when I first got magic power on Death Mountain to seeing them in the credits of Majora's Mask.

I will say that if they are enemies that roam the Shadow Temple, they would be the scariest.

I think the whole "omg that fairy genuinely frightens me and looks like a cheap, russian whore" stance is greatly exaggerated.

I never had any issue with her.

I remember finding Impa a lot more scary-looking than the Great Fairies as a kd.

Meh, not nearly as much as it seemed to have freaked other people out. I suppose nostalgia blurs the vision of many.

I mean, she wasn't pretty. And that laugh is a bit annoying. But c'mon, there's no need to push it to extremes.

She has pointy boobs, I was like Erm... This is for kids right?...

Kind of scary when they're supposed to be Great Fairies implying that they are thousands of years old....

I didn't think they were scary, but I do remember thinking that were were really risqué.

Then I grew up and learned what risqué REALLY is.

Pretty positive it gave me my first boner instead.

honestly the fairys kinda freaked me out. They kinda looked like prostitutes.

I never really notice/care about the Great Fairies when visiting the shrines. The background music is so soothing/relaxing that it makes me drowsy.

They are sorta creppy mostly the laugh.

No...I simply don't let it bother me. I focus on the text instead of...well, you know.

She could have used a bra in my opinion. She didn't scare me or anything. But you'd think an all powerful fairy would at least be able to zap herself up some support.

It's to make you fall asleep so she can drag you home and have really freaky sex with you. I'm scared. Now if the TP great fairy were to do that...

I wouldn't find them scary, but they are definitely not my idea as a fair.... They're freaky in a way, or at least their hair is, but scary, I wouldn't say they were scary.... Though I was pretty surprised at their appearance.
