Corruption

This is something funny i did recently. I downloaded a ROM corrupter. This is a tool to experiment with NES ROMs. You just tpe in a few things, hit the button, and anything can happen. I decided to experiment with LOZ. Sometimes the ROM was so screwed up that it din't work, other times nothing visible happened. One time though i got the music to change. It would start normally, some beeping would occur, and after a while it sounded like a mix of zelda and metroid music. It was pretty funny. The only problem was that in some places the game would freeze. I tried ripping the music out of the game, but it wouldn't work. Has anyone else done something like this.

I haven't done this, as ROMs are too complex for me... but I mean, it is just a ROM, so obviously glitchy things like that are to occur.

ROMs are mostly useless, and stuff like glitchs is bound to happen. Yeh they are alright untill they freeze or chrash or start going buuuzzzzbuzzbuzzzzbuzzzccrruzz...you know what I mean.
The last time I downloaded one was a while ago, and I useualy try to avoid them.

Not only that, I think ROM's are illegal. I would just rather play it on the original system rather than breaking the law and watching it glitch up after you've gotten far in it. That's just me.

Yes, Roms are illegal, and they are not allowed to be talked about on these forums. A mod should lock this.

I agree, ROMS are illegal, so play on the proper version of the game. You will not be dissapointed. Please could this thread be locked
