YES! A Link to the Past is my 2nd favorite in the entire series. It's got an inviting plot, challenging dungeons, a good length, epic boss battles, and an amazing soundtrack.
If you haven't played it yet, do whatever you need to to play it!

Sure thing.
Or you could download it to your Wii via Virtual Console.
BTW people say that the Zelda series borrows from OoT a lot, well as you'll see, OoT borrowed a lot from ALttP. >:-D

Welcome to ZU.
You should go make an introduction thread over in the new members board

MM was hard back when I first got it. When I recently played it again it was less hard, but still no walk in the park.

The fierce deity mask is a large help and i think, for one, it plays a huge part in Majoras Mask. I once saw on a youtube video with Miyomoto calling it the Victory or Champion Mask.

Yes. A Link to the Past is worth the investment. The storyline is amazing, the weapons are outstanding, and the game also is fun to roam around. But Ebay may be expensive. What I did was get it off the Wii shop for 800 Wii points. ($8)

A Link to the Past is worth the investment. You wont regret it. The amazing items, storyline, and map make it a fun adventure. But Ebay might be expensive. The Wii shop sells it for 800 wii points. (unless you want the original then use Ebay)

Water Temple the very last challenge

Is there any other easy way to go up that incline with the three razors? (the last part before going to the boss room in the water temple)
All i do is equip iron boots and walk up it slowly hopefully dodging the razors...

All I did was just keep trying until I got it... Also maybe you should describe this a little better, it took me a while to figure out what you were talking about

*Merged with the general discussion thread*

I haven't played in a while but I use the boots and go up on one of the sides so you have enough time to get past.

Re: NES/SNES/N64 Zelda General Discussion

I've never had the iron boots on in that room. I approach the hill from the side and time it so that the first razor has barely moved out of my way when I cross its path. Do that and just keep walking straight forward.

What I do is just stand there at the bottom and just by instinct look closely at where all 3 razors are and wait for the right moment and then...GO GO GO GO GO!

^That. But I stick to the right up against the wall. I've never been able to do it on the center marker thing.

You don't use the iron boots?

Re: NES/SNES/N64 Zelda General Discussion

Because I kept slipping.
So the logical choice was to use the boots.

I have to agree. You cannot blame a person for trying to apply, you know, logic to a Zelda puzzle. Do you propose we just fly to the otherside of the room instead so we can fight Morpha? D:

^That could happen if you are nerdy enough, and have a hack to make Link float to the Boss door.

No, you walk up with the Kokiri Boots on, duh.

And don't talk to me about using logic in a Zelda puzzle. Cindy couldn't figure out you had to jump off the bridge in TP and that was the first thing I thought of

I just did talk to you about using logic in a Zelda puzzle.

What are you going to do now?
