Favorite Oot Temple

So what was your favorite temple in Oot.

Also, would you have changed anything about the temples you didn't like.

You can chose multiple answers incase you had 2 equal favorites. (But please dont select more than 2)

My favorite temple was the spirit temple. I just really liked the music in it. My least favorite (as a kid) was the shadow temple. It really freaked me out.

Re: Favorite Oot Temple

I chose the Forest Temple and Shadow Temple. Forest for the music and just the general layout and the Shadow because it had a lot of unique twists and turns and hidden things.

I would have changed the Water Temple... duh.

Re: Favorite Oot Temple

I'm really stuck between the fire temple and the spirit temple.
The fire temple always just seemed more fun than most of the others too me.

But, the spirit temple was more out-of-the-box so to speak. You had to go back and forth in time to solve the temple. Plus, it had the awesome mini boss and the best Zelda boss too date (imo). I really love fighting the spirit temple boss.

Oooh, yeah; a close second for me. That is a great temple to play for all the reasons you've mentioned.

I think the one i didnt like was inside jabu jabu. The girl really annoyed me. It would have been more enjoyable without her bossyness and winging.

Re: Favorite Oot Temple

I know you said that we can only pick 2 but I have three equal favourites :S Forest/Spiirt/Shadow, but if I had to pick one I would say Forest because its the first one where you play as adult Link which is pretty cool.
The one that I would change would be the fire temple, I know that the water temple is extremely tedious, but at least its interesting before it gets tedious, the fire temple is just extremely dull up until the final boss and the only good thing about it was the megaton hammer. ( I would make it use the bow and arrow a lot more and also the hookshot and make it a challenge rather than just being in the way of me having fun)

Re: Favorite Oot Temple

The fire temple was alright. It was just a little bland consider you kind of already did a fire temple as a child. At least the forest temple didnt repeat the duku tree.

Re: Favorite Oot Temple

Forest Temple, for it's layout, the music, structure, it's like magic, so cool. And Spirit temple, bescause the music, structure, it's like Egipt and I love that, and it's more dynamic the fact that you go as a child and adult Link. But the enemies and bosses were so great to. They puts me in a different atmosphere.

And changing one, I really don't, though I hate Shadow and Fire Temple, they are made like that and each one has a different look, someones must be easy, others tedious, otehers great, it is a taste for all.

(and sorry for my english again )

The Spirit Temple. I think its possibly one of my favorite temples in the series. None of the desert temples in other Zelda games have been able to capture the awesomeness of the Spirit Temple.

My fave was the Spirit Temple. The time-travelling is good, and Twinrova were great. The Shadow Temple was good too. My least fave was the Water Temple, for obvious reasons!

I concur. The whole of the Gerudo's Fortress was awesome, then followed by the Spirit Temple. Loved the music, the story with Nabooru and Koume and Kotake, the Mirror Shield, the look and feel of everything.

I first played OoT when I was around twelve; I DESPISED the Shadow temple. A perfect combination of all my least favorite baddies.

Re: Favorite Oot Temple

Forest Temple.

Not just because of Saria being my favorite character, but the layout of the place felt kinda cozy, the soothing background was once my startup music for the computer (and probably should become so again!) and all the nice lil screenshots I could take of the place! I've even shopped Saria into screenshots of the little bridge because that spot is just freaking awesome.

Ha...no one liked the young Link dungeons! Glad I'm not the only one. My favorite is the Spirit Temple followed closely by the Forest Temple...they're probably my favorite dungeons in the series. Love the atmosphere, music, bosses, sages...everything was just perfect there.

Water Temple. It was pretty complicated and presented a challenge. It also had my favorite boss in the game.

Its all about the Spirit Temple. It was great, well laid out, and had an awesome song to accompany it! I love that level! So much fun. The boss is amazing too!

Re: Favorite Oot Temple

Definitely the spirit temple. I liked how you had to go there both as a kid and as an adult, and you find TWO important items there (I think? the gauntlets and the mirror shield?). I liked the music and the design and the puzzles and... yeah, just so much fun! And the boss there was one of my favourites!

Re: Favorite Oot Temple

Water Temple and Spirit Temple are my favourites. Both had a fantastic atmosphere, were beautiful and challenging. I loved the boss in the Spirit Temple, and the whole story around it.
