Re: Official NES/SNES/N64 Zelda Help Thread

Thank you very much . Saved me a lot of time looking. I was thinking it was in Zora's Domain for some reason. But I found it. Thanks again

Now it looks like I'm stuck in the Spirit Temple

EDIT: Figured it out. apparently I had to hit that chest that froze me

A Link to the Past Question

PLEASE DON'T TELL ME IF IT'S A SPOILER OR SUPER IMPORTANT. I was just wondering what the cauldron in the well by the blacksmiths house was, I see there is red stuff in it but I can't do anything with it.

Put magic powder in the red zone. You'll get an upgrade.

To get the Magic Powder, bring the witch "something" from the forest. (Trying to keep it spoiler-free)

I did it and got the magic upgrade, thank you. This'll really help me against that moth boss.

Thanks for the heads up... xD man I don't like fighting him. Too many things going on at once... the floor moves, the spikes move, plus he shoots and flies at you.

Re: Official NES/SNES/N64 Zelda Help Thread

Plus I run out of magic even with the upgrade. Here's what I do every playthrough of ALttP: I do Thieves' Town first. Extra heart piece, sword upgrade, all the new pieces of heart you can get, every little bit helps. Ganon's harder, but by the time you fight him it's less of a desperate struggle and more of a real battle.

My favorite Zelda game ever, though.

Re: Official NES/SNES/N64 Zelda Help Thread

First of all, just for your information, calm down your posts. People should see your thread, capitalizing letters isn't the way to get attention.

Secondly, do you have the bow?

[EDIT] I do not think you have the bow, so I'll just go ahead and explain. The bow is in the Eastern Palace. It is the second Light World dungeon, and the second dungeon overall.

After you get the bow, enemies should drop arrows. You should also start with arrows when you get the bow.

Go to Karkariko village, you should be able to find some in the house with the wall you blowup or within the shed that has been boarded up in the southwest part of town.

I don't know where any arrows are hidden exactly, but they can be found in pots or enemies can drop them whilst you're in a dungeon.

HELP Zelda II - Finished Death Mountain and the hammer wasn't there!

Hello. I recently started playing Zelda II on my old NES and everything was going grea until death mountain. I already know the path and when i get to the cave where the hammer is located and kill the axe throwing mo' fo', the hammer is not there. I've tried cleaning the cartridge multiple times, resetting and everything else. Has anyone else experienced this? I found someone with the same problem on another forum but it had no answers. Please help, it will be greatly appreciated.

Additional details: I'm currently at lvls. 5 attck 4 mag 7 life. Have the candle and the power glove. (tried to find the hammer before the 2nd palace and it didnt work, so i finished the second palace to see if that was the prob. and it still wasn't there.)

Re: Official NES/SNES/N64 Zelda Help Thread

Have you tried a new game in one of the other slots? Just to test it out if it's just your current slot that's corrupted.

If the other slots are corrupted as well, then it's probably a bad memory sector of the ROM chips in the cartridge.

Re: Official NES/SNES/N64 Zelda Help Thread

You sure you're in the right place? You fall down the hole next to the rock and somewhere over the right you go past these pillars and stuff. Is there a dead end there in your game?
