It was also made in 1998, I think they had different regulations back in 1998. Besides, they changed it to this green matter in the Gamecube version. Probably a result of changes in regulation over the years.

Only the Golden cartridge for the N64 shows blood.
And they also changed a few other things like the islamic chanting in the fire temple and the islamic writing on the mirror shield.

Also, I have the original Ocarina of Time cartridge and that shows blood, too. Also, it has the "Islamic" chanting (which I simply call chanting) which was changed to a chorus kind of singing to the same melody in the Gamecube Version. It also still had the "Islamic writing" which I assume your talking about the Moon and Star which was the symbol of the Gerudo until it was changed on the Gamecube Version.

Wrong. There are gray carts that have the blood, chanting, and Islamic Gerudo symbol. It was changed in version 1.2.

I should know, I have one of those gray carts.

They didn't remove the Kakariko Well and Shadow Temple blood around the torture devices and dungeons, did they?

People had different ideas of what could and could not be shown to children and teenagers back in the day.
