Did you think Majoras Wrath was hard?

Hello I'm new here and this is my first post.

I think he's easy.

Did you use the Fierce Deity Mask?

I have to confess...I actually haven't fought him without first obtaining the FDM. It's really something I should try one day.

I thought it was a moderately difficult battle without FDM. With it though, that battle was over faster than Oprah on a baked ham.

The wonderful aspect of all the Majora forms is the veratility in which the battle can be attempted. Zora, Goron, Deku, Fierce Deity and regular forms can all tackle this enemy, and grant varying levels of difficulty. I have completed each in every form apart from Deku and some aspects of the Goron battle, and the challenge changed with my choice of weapons - something that cannot be boasted of Zelda's usual boss formulae.

The difficulty of Majora's Wrath is a secondary element, though. For the Nintendo sixtyfour, I havent seen an enemy quite as stunning as Majora's Wrath. Graceful, powerful and menacing, with a considerable AI to boot - at least from the perspective of Nintendo sixtyfour Zelda. Recently I noticed that Majora's Incarnation sometimes pretends to fall over, and Majora's Wrath's dancing movements coincide with the players' attacks.

Majora's Wrath posed a good fight and it'd land good hits, but he's great fun.

He is easy to beat.

I remember that too and it'd use trickery along with it's quick attacks to set you off balance. He puts quite a different touch for a final bout compared to other LoZ.

I thought compared to the game's difficulty that the fight with Majora at the end was pretty easy. Did it kill the awesomeness of the game? No, not one bit.

I fought him with the Fierce Deity Mask, so it was pretty easy.

Majora's wrath was the hardest form in the Majora battle, however he was still easy for me to beat (without using FDM)

With the Fierce Deity's Mask, he's extremely easy. It's over before you even realize it really began. Haha! But without the mask, the other transformation masks are a good essential to use. I suppose using nothing would make the battle a bit difficult, but that's something that I've never tried. Hmm, maybe I should at some point, but I'd be too tempted to use the FDM.

I have never tried the final boss battle with a transformation mask (except FD). I'm pretty sure using it would be harder.

Without FD, pretty effing hard. I just beat him today using Link/Goron/Zora. My fourth try in history without FD.

EDIT: I loved it, too! It was pretty freaking epic...

I'd say Majora's Wrath is the hardest final boss of any 3D Zelda, if you don't use the FDM. He's fast and his tentacles have crazy range. The fact that he's a third form, and there are no convienent pots/skulls nearby mean that you're really tired by the time you fight him. The first time I fought Major's Wrath I ran out of arrows, and man, he was hard.

I played the section without the mask and it was very difficult. It took a great deal of time for me to actually beat the game

He was almost impossible for my 5 year old self. He would kill me so fast.

Nowadays, he's still difficult without the Fierce Deity Mask.

Really? I fought him plenty of times without it...As a matter a fact my first play through i never even found all the masks...

Anyway the first time hes a bit tricky but once you know how he fights hes pretty easy.

Basically, all you have to do is keep your distance and shoot him with projectiles. Of course daredevils would fight him only with Link's sword or Zora Link. I'm itching to try that sometime. But yeah, distance (GOOD distance) is a safe bet.

When you use the Fierce Deity mask he goes down in like 10 seconds, which makes me laugh.
But I don't think beating him without the FDM is too hard either. Arrows are a good bet.
