What would you rate LoZ:MM out of ten?

I liked it a lot... sequels are always fun.

I like how it is a parallel world and lots of characters look the same from OoT but with different names and things.

Re: What would you rate LoZ:MM out of ten?

I'd have to give it a ten, of course. I'm most sure that people among this forum would agree haha. It's just an all out great and fun game to play, who wouldn't enjoy it?

Re: What would you rate LoZ:MM out of ten?

I voted 9 because all though it had a bunch of entertaining sidequests I felt the main story was lacking in Zelda-ness. Unless you did all the sidequests it was lacking meat! Sidequests are what made it great, but also why it is not as highly ranked on my Zelda Scale of Awesomeness.

Re: What would you rate LoZ:MM out of ten?

Somehow I think the only reason I like OoT more is just because it was the 1st 3d zelda. If they would've been released on the same day which is ofcourse not a very likely scenario I think MM would have had a bigger impact on me! I still love them both ofcourse but MM is a very special one! The atmosphere and the feel to it is just very impressive!

9.3/10

Re: What would you rate LoZ:MM out of ten?

I would definitely give it a ten, although it held nothing to Ocarina. I was very impressed with the masks and the whole time travel deal. That has always fascinated me, and I think they pulled it off very well.

Re: What would you rate LoZ:MM out of ten?

Woops I gave it a 9 because I didn't read your explanation that it the 0 was a 10 (should read further next time -_-) but I would have given it a 10. It's my second favourite Zelda (next to ALTTP)

Re: What would you rate LoZ:MM out of ten?

I put it a 9 cuz I think that the 0 was a... 0. Anyway, I give it a 10, perfect. My favorite Zelda of all times. The best Storyline and the coolest dungeon ever!!! (Stone Tower)

Re: What would you rate LoZ:MM out of ten?

I gave it a 10 because it's a very good game and I would still play it even with the games we have today Majora's mask is still a top game IMO.

I actually think the game play though very similar is better than OoT. Even Epona was updated from OoT to MM and I dont just mean a graphical change.
For example you can stear your horse while having the bow out. All you do is aim your bow as far as you can in order to stear Epona. You cant turn very well this way but it can be usefull.

Another thing I like about this game was when using ice arrows on keese or those black birds (cant remember the name) is when you shoot them they freeze and drop to the ground and shatter like a glass chanderlier, I found it pretty funny.

Even the equipment was upgraded from OoT
2 examples are:
Gilded Sword. MM version to the Master Sword (in game play not story) It is better because it deals more damage than the master sword (I have tested this) and is still 1 handed. I also like the look of it more.

Swimming MM still has the best swimming method in any zelda game to date. Even TP Zora tunic dont compare to swimming as an actuall Zora in MM.

Re: What would you rate LoZ:MM out of ten?

9. Not a 10 because the three-day sequence was great but just annoying enough so that I never played through twice. I was always stressed out in that game!

Re: What would you rate LoZ:MM out of ten?

The three day sequence ruined it for me. Plus i have always considered the main story to be more important than sidequests in ranking a game so it suffers for having only four dungeons and artificial lengthening. All in all 9/10. Like i said it was a great game but i just prefer my Zeldas to be more traditional.

Re: What would you rate LoZ:MM out of ten?

9.5 (I voted 9 though). This is for a couple of minor reasons. There should have been one more temple or little more side-quests. Either one. The side-quests for masks was also kind of hard without the use of a guide to me. Also I wish OoT had around the amount of side-quests of MM. These deduct about .25 of a point. The other .24 of the point was because it was very expensive to find due to the need of Expantion Pak. Finally the last .01 was because it wasnt as good as OoT.
(WOAH I just realized if you type in 9.5 score on Google Images, MM pics appear!)

Re: What would you rate LoZ:MM out of ten?

9.8 (9). It was a huge game considering that it took just 2 years to create. It's indeed the most replayable Zelda to date, and certainly the most interesting storywise.

Re: What would you rate LoZ:MM out of ten?

10 from my opinion. It could have been done better, 7 days, more main dungeons, sidequests...but that's the same with every game, no? In itself, MM is a great game.

Re: What would you rate LoZ:MM out of ten?

the passage of time could have been handled more smoothly, and certain tunes (Termina Field)
drove me bonkers, but it was still a good game

Without a doubt, 10.

The game is amazing. The music, story, dungeons, characters...

I just love it.
