Definite 9, I felt that the storyline was excellent, the characters were deep and it showed great emotion. Great game, but I felt that the concept was just really strange, but nonetheless, AMAZING GAME.

great story, great atomshphere, great music, just short on length.

despite being short. Majora's Mask was very fun and entertaining. If it was just has long as OoT then it would surpass it. Otherwise I fine it to be a fine sequel to the considered greatest game of all time.

A solid 7/10, it was fun and unique, and a great game. The pros would be a highly interactive and sidequest-filled world, originality in general, and Fierce Deity Link. Oh yeah. The cons would be that the 3-day thing got really old, the overwhelming bizarreness of some fantasy elements (like the giants and Happy Mask salesman), and the annoying need to constantly use Deku Link.

Ten. This game was ****ing fantastic. It's such a rich world. I absolutely LOVE side quests and this game was all about them. I love when there's a million things to do. There's just so much going on in this game. Plus, all the characters and places are so interesting and colorful. It's just a perfect game, I love it so much.

9 most games are realy good and are 10 worthy but the MM is not one of those games I say that is is not 10 because it is to annoying. and YOU NEED to SAVE or else yo will restart because if you beat half a temple. then save. then you mess up so you just turn it off . when you go to the temple nothing will be done.

Re: What would you rate LoZ:MM out of ten?

9/10

It gave us a fresh storyline that was basically a "vacation" away from Hyrule. The many masks with their special abilities and uses was an excellent idea, especially the ones that allowed you to transform. Being able to take 4 different forms allowed a wider range of thinking. The difficulty of the game left that satisfying feeling you get when you complete the game. The clock and three-day window was an interesting twist, though it may not have been a favorite for some (which is why I give MM a 9, not a 10).

I loved this game. I loved the story, the freshness, the masks, the music, the experience, the gameplay. Ocarina of Time was a tough act to follow, and Majora's Mask nailed it.

9 & 3/4. The only thing is losing your items when you save, that has always bothered me. Awesome game, but will always be over-shadowed by OoT.

Re: What would you rate LoZ:MM out of ten?

F-ing 20 billion if I could. MM has been, now without a doubt, the best Zelda game to date (In my opinion anywas). OoT is a very close second but a second none the less. MM has great story, great gameplay, it's so much fun just to play the thing, it has absolute re-play value, and it's challenging. The end.

Re: What would you rate LoZ:MM out of ten?

For me, Majora's Mask gets a 10/10.

Not only did we have a main quest (although only consisting of 4 main temples) but we had all this extra side content in the game that consists of helping NPC's, and getting rewards for doing so. Because of all the side content in the game, Majora's Mask does have pretty good replay value even after beating the main story. Transformations were great, and made some puzzles a little bit more challenging.

The setting/atmosphere the game portrayed was amazing. Never did I once get the impression of "I'm going to be the savior and slay the big bad guy", it was more like "oh ♥♥♥♥, this land is falling apart and is under a huge threat. What and how am I suppose to do to prevent it from happening?". This game gives you more of a sense of that there is a greater force at work, and not just some big old baddy who kidnaps a princess.

I keep meaning to replay Majora's Mask and do all the side content, 100% of it. But I do have a research paper to do and playing other games as well... but eventually I'll replay this amazing Zelda title.

In my books, this is the greatest Zelda game to date.

This. I have to say that I'm still disappointed with the length of MM, even with all of the side quests. MM was one of the few Zelda games to break the mold of "damsel in distress" and become it's own specific game. Not that there's anything wrong with that formula, when they re-use it they re-use it well, but it's still nice to see something at least almost completely new every once in a while.

Re: What would you rate LoZ:MM out of ten?

i would rate MM at around 10 for actual enjoyability, the story is SO GREAT that i now despise almost every game without a good enough storyline (and movies as well)

as said before it had its flaws some of which were tech related others were there to keep up difficulty but overall it is awesome even though i still havent completed it yet (just got to the pirate fortress the other week and am thanking ninty for VC)

Re: What would you rate LoZ:MM out of ten?

I'd give it a nine. The problems I had in the game were saving issues. Like even after you save at an owl statue and for some reason your Gamecube/N64 freezes up, you lose all the data from the current 3-day span.

a nine at most because it wasn't a direct sequel to Oot,it is what is happening after Zelda sent him back in time so i wouldn't call it a direct sequal

I haven't played through the whole game, but from what I've played/seen, I'd say 6 is a fair rating.

Re: What would you rate LoZ:MM out of ten?

I'd certainly give it a ten. The bossed were certainly fun. The parralel element was nice. Ever wished you could battle that epic final boss again without going through the whole game again? In MM, you can. I love the bosses becuase of their originallity. I liked Goht All ya had to do was spike him, hit him and avoid the obstacles. Awesome
Tatl was a refreshing change of pace too. Sometimes, yiu could find her not telling you how to defeat a monster, such as: "Hey, isn't that a Skulfish? Don't ask me about everything!" That's not a quote, but it was something along those lines. It's nice to hear a ringing-dinging bell sort of sound instead of "hey!" or "Listen!" . Navi had her uses too, but Tatl had a nice attitude and depth that I couldn't find in Navi. To the best of my knowledge, Navi only critisiced Link once, at the beggining of OOT, when she said: "Can the fate of the world really depend on such a lazy boy?" Overall, MM scores 10 for me.

A 10. It was an amazing game and the story was awsome. I liked how you only had three days and I liked idea of having mask in it.

Re: What would you rate LoZ:MM out of ten?

I love mm it has one of my favorite dungon (stone tower) I rate it 10. I love how you only have 3 days to do the temples it makes it so much more challenging. I think it was so fun wearing different masks it makes this game so much different than any other.

Eleven. Majora's Mask is so epic, it breaks the scale of ten.

Re: What would you rate LoZ:MM out of ten?

I just LOVED that game and I still do. It was harder than OoT (which IS a good thing), it had an awesome story AND very cool sidequests and sidestories. Also, how the characters evolve throughout the story is very interesting and I loved it. I really can't find a major flaw in this game ^^
So I rate it 10/10
