Your best time to beat OoT???

Mine is 3:48:09. I'm wanting to go at least 3:00:00 or less. Its hard tho lol. So wats urs??? I know I can do 3 Hrs. or less, I know the game like the back of my hand.

Whatever my time was when I beat it, I've only beaten it once.
But I'm doing it again.

I just finished the game for the first time last night.

Wow, three hours. Kudos to you! I believe my best time was actually almost four hours. I know the game like the back of my hand as well. I think I've played the game more than fifty times! Haha!

I don't race through games, I enjoy them.

Im not going to lie probably around 4 and 1/2 hours, my nephew wanted to see the ending and play through it from start to finish before he left to his hometown so..... I gave him what he wanted.

I've never really done a speed run on it, but I am right now. I'll post it when I'm done.

Well I the first time I played Ccarina of Time it took me 10 days to beat but then I made another file for fun after I got some practice and so I managed to beat the whole game in 11 hours and something minutes.. Maybe it wasn't the best time but I'm going to try to beat it faster than that.

I don't understand the point of beating a game as fast as possible, don't you lose some of the charm of the game? Esp a game like OoT, it's meant to be taken in slowly and enjoy your environment.

You'd be surprised how fun it is beating a game really fast.

its just a new challange after beating a game. for fun. -_-

14 hours. I really need to try again. I did TP in 3 hours, so I'm gonna do OoT in 2!

Thats a bit hard to believe considering the current record (which is very recent) is just under 4 hours and a run with saves is expected to get around 3:30.

I'm trying a speed run right now and I have some questions for the people who have done it already:
1. I'm assuming those times (besides the 1:10) is without glitches?
2. Do you go for Epona? The Biggoron sword?
3. Are there any other events that you can skip without glitches?

Epona and biggorons sword both cost too much time to be worth getting them. You can skip the lens of truth and song of storms by knowing your way around the shadow temple and through the desert. You can also skip the goron and zora tunic if you're fast enough in the fire/water temple.

No lens of truth will save a lot of time and most of the hidden things in the shadow temple are pretty obvious. Getting through the dessert might be slightly harder because I've never really paid attention to it. The tunics I'm going to skip for sure. Thanks for the advice.

I'm going to probably try another speed run, but I got 7 hours and 8 minutes.
