gannons castle question?

yeah this is really starting to piss me off i wonder if you guys can help me.

im on gannondorfs castle and in the fire section of it theres this huge black stone. it says grab but like nothing happens and this confuses me i mean i have the silver gauntlets but idk why i cant pick it up. iv seen it in videos too people just walk up to it and lift it up.
but idk if its the game or im missing something or doing it wrong.

Find the gold gauntlets in a different section.

The section you find the gold gauntlents in is the shadow section.

and there's another giant rock you'll be able to get to - Where the fairy fountain with Din's fire was, just outside the castle.

Yeah, thats one fairy fountain you'll want to hit up for sure.

Save before you go up the Tower itself so you can use them in the Overworld after you kill Ganondorf.

yes. do the shadow barrier first! you should see a lone chest (or was it switch?) anyways after doing whatever to the switch/chest another chest should appear on the main platform in the middle. open it.
