Hard Bosses

I want to hear some opinions on the hardest bosses in Majora's mask and Ocarina of time. For me in OOT phantom ganon was a bit annoying and in MM Gyorg was a big pain in the butt. But what do you think

Those exact two bosses were certainly the ones who immediately sprang to my mind. Also, without of the Fierce Deity Mask, Majora is actually quite tricky.

Bongo Bongo and Twinrova

GYORG and Twinmold and now Majora's Mask (THe first time it was easy but I died on incantatioon because I forgot fairies, second time I lost two fairies because it wouldn't stop the f'ing lasers! I couldn't damage it, and occasionally it went through my invisible shield (fun fact, even with gfs OUT, by holding r, mirror shield still reflects, but doesn't block))

Well, let me try to remember. It's been years since I played through OoT as a whole.

Nowadays, I usually play up to Forest Temple and stop for a while, then decide to start over and say, "Okay, I'm actually going to go through the whole darn thing this time." With that being said, we can scratch Gohma, King Dodongo, Barinade, and Phantom Ganon off of my list, since I've become accustomed to beating them over and over.

Now, trying to remember back to my first time playing through the whole game (let's say 1999)... I'd have to say that Phantom and Bongo Bongo were my two hardest Bosses, simply because I felt, at that age, that those were the only two that would require actual work from me (I was a cocky kid when I was young).

So, to sum it up:

First time playthrough: Phantom and Bongo Bongo
Nowadays: I don't think any of them would be too hard. It's just finding time to sit down and play through the whole darn game!

I would say phantom ganon. He's annoying at first having to look at all of the pictures... Bongo Bongo was difficult until u get the hand of it. Then he's a piece of cake.

I haven't played MM so I wouldn't know.

I never had trouble with Bongo Bongo. The first time I played I had a hell of a time fighting Morpha, but now nothing poses a threat.

For Majora's Mask, I had trouble with Odolwa the first time. For some reason I didn't think to use arrows. For repeat plays, the 3-tiered last boss without the FD is hardest.



By the way, the hardest boss to fight with the Fierce Deity's Mask on: Twinmold.

Oh, I forgot to answer the part about MM!

Well, I've never actually finished it, whether it was when it first came out (I owned it then) or nowadays.

However, in my last file (before I lost my GC collection disc), I only beat Odolwa and Goht, and there isn't much I remember about them being hard or anything. This is why that MM is the game, out of all the Zeldas I've tried so far (but haven't yet completed), that I'm most interested in completing! Then, I'd have more to say about those Bosses.

I never had trouble with the bosses of OoT. Some are more complicated to beat than others, but in general they are not this hard. The bosses of MM, in other way, are far harder.
The one I had more problem with was Gyorg. Its annoying way to move underwater made me die a lot =P
Except for this one, I hadn't much troubles. After all, Zelda is not the most difficult games-series of the world.

Oh, and sorry for the spelling (if there's any mistake), I'm not this good with english.

I hated Gyorg. He was ugly, was difficult, I hated the whole temple, too... Swimming as a Zora is great and whatnot, but that dark, creepy temple with a lot of similar rooms, and those annyoing dexihands, and the stray fairies... And then Gyorg. I nearly cried in my anger, because I had so much trouble with him.
But Goht! He was awesome! The best boss in Zelda ever. Though I prefer being Zora, and not Goron, but the Zoraness was ruined by the Great Bay Temple, and Gyorg.

None of the OOT bosses were hard for me, they were actually quite fun, espically Twinrova and Bongo Bongo

Gyorg was a total pain, the only boss where it didn't have a direct way to beat him, you stand on the platform, he rams you, you jump in the water, he he swallows you up, thanks Nintendo >>

Not only that but the Great Bay temple itself was pain why is it that the Zoras have to be the only race with pain in the butt temples?

Bongo Bongo from what I remember was quite tricky, not hard in that he was difficult to kill, but the distraction of constantly being thrown into the air. Volvagia was also really annoying when he flew above you... I can't remember any MM bosses being particularly hard, especially after going back to them with the Fierce Deity mask... *Sigh* Good times :')

None of the N64 bosses are hard IMO. But Bongo Bongo and Twinrova have to be two of the most exciting boss fights out of the Zeldas I've played.

Gyorg, hands down. Becuase once that son of a B gets a hold of you, bye-bye.

Granted, this run through wasn't as bad for me because I'm trying to get all the heart pieces so I've been pretty beefed up life-wise.

Bongo Bongo is probably the most fun though.

Majora, without Fierce Deity's mask. Phantom Ganon is harder than the real Ganondorf that I find ironic.

The jellyfish thing in Jabu-Jabu and Gyorg.

Ganondorf and Ganon is my answer for Ocarina of Time. The battle lasts for a while, and it gets rather frustrating no matter how many times I've played it.

As for Majora's Mask, I'm gonna say Gyorg like most everybody else because it's the only boss that I actually died on.

For some reason, when I was younger, Gyorg was always difficult for me. Not so much anymore.

I say (phantom) ganondorf was hardest (not hard, hardest) in oot. i kept missing the balls he threw at you! (that sounded soooo wrong)

It's always fun to do Phantom Ganon with empty bottles!
