After u beat OOT is there any more fun 2 be had?

Screwing around with glitches is endless fun .

This is the difference between OoT and MM.

OoT has a far longer main quest and a more epic final battle

MM has more to do between the main quest things.

Well, I find getting 100% completion is fun. And there are countless fun glitches to be done in oot.
Also definitely get MM you wont regret it.
Dont listen to people who say WW and TP suck they are great games.

Wind Waker and its sequel were two of my favorite games. Twilight Princess was really fun too. Honestly, you have your own opinion. Don't just listen to other people. Even if people say a game is great you might not like it. You just have to try it!

I was doing that glitch to get under the ice in Zora's Domain but misstepped and fell into the main room, but it wasn't loaded. It was black. xD Ahh, I've been having so much fun with glitches as of lately!

I'd would say that there is still some left to be had like getting all the bottles, all the heart pieces and the ice arrows. You know those little sidequests and minigames.

Oot actually has a lot to do after you beat the main story. For example, even if you've legitly beaten te game, you can still get bronze gaunts like I did. Once you steal the fishing rod you can warp to the center of Lake Hylia then walk back to the shore to do the glitch. (Most people think you can't get gaunts if you beat Morphos, which is false) Also, challenge yourself with a few funny glitches such as getting under Zora's Domain's ice sheet, and do the get into the water temple as young link glitch. Both are fun to do. I also found a glitch to shrink a boulder in Kakariko. There are so many funny glitches, the game can be good for months after you finish it!

PS: WW and TP don't suck, they both own!

nearly every person who played and loved this game goes through this feeling at some point, so enjoy the storyline while it lasts and its still new to you! i would give anything to have the feeling of playing OoT for the first time again!

i beat the game for the first time nearly 10 years ago now, heres what i've been doing since then with ocarina of time.

buy multiple copys of OoT on gamecube and N64
i have 4 copys on N64 (3 are still brand new) collectors edition X2 (1 still sealed) and the masterquest disk i have X2 as well. (1 brand new)

buy a second hand N64 and a gameshark device and ruin a few old cartridges of zelda 64
ive given away 2 copys now from over glitching not to mention a few N64s

play masterquest

play majoras mask, its the exact same game engine, graphics are slightly better quality, has some interesting new abilitys and objects through out the game that are ALMOST sure not to disapoint if you loved OoT

do a 3 heart only run through the game

do a speed run

100% complete

buy any other zelda game, because their pretty much all the same formula with slight changes in storyline. i had my doubts on WW like everyone else when i saw the boat, but at the end of the day its another zelda game to play. that feels incredibly similar in how it plays but gives you the feeling of playing a new zelda game again.

this has kept me busy and more then happy for the last 10 years so enjoy!

search the boards, you will find plenty of them. its usually one or the other, some people think cel shaded link is better, some think TP style was better. this is the basis for alot of arguments for the gamecube zelda games.

i personally dont hate any zelda game, im just less fond of some as i am of others.

Once you done OOT do MM. The temples are like OOT but much harder. So you should be ready for it. Also there is a time limit on you. When finished the temples in MM there are so many side quests you can do and they are all fun and are all helpful. So..... GET MAJORAS MASK!!!!

Ollect all the heart pieces and skulltullas, MM is a must play!

- All Heart Pieces
- All Skulltulas
- Ice Arrows
- Opening every door in Gerudo Training Center
- Max Upgrades for all items
- Biggoron's Sword
- Getting to Gerudo Fortress as a child, without glitching
- Reading all Gossip Stones (one is in gerudo fortress btw)
- Fun with Glitches

I recommend you to get Majora's Mask and The Wind Waker...
Or you can always hit some cuckoos with your sword and see what happen.

OoT actually runs pretty low on fun side-quests, compared to other games like MM. And all of the "Collect-'em-all" quests like heart pieces, items and gold skulltulas always run a little tedious in my opinion.

What I like to do on OoT for fun is the different glitches you can play around with, especially the Swordless Link glitch, that opens up a whole world of things to do and it's fun to see how the different mechanics of the game work.

Am I the only one who's ready to play through the game again right after completing it...?

I'm usually up for doing it again, but probably not immediately afterwards. I'm usually up for going back and defeating Ganon again immediately afterward, though.

That reminds me of the fun I had with those beta codes for the GameShark when everyone was trying to find the triforce somewhere in the code. I wasn't trying to find it, but I did enjoy all the different worlds.

I like young Link more than adult. After playing up until gettinr the Master Sword, sometimes i'll start over and do it again.

i get the three spiritual stones turn into an adult then start over pretty much everytime i play Oot. the problem with that now is that im so good at the first three dungeons that i can usually finish them all within a couple of hours. ive timed myself in dungeons and its usually around 15 minutes to beat the deku tree, around 20 mins for dodongos cavern, and about 35 minutes for jabu jabu
