Deku Scrub: We all know dogs don't like the Deku Scrub. But, go into the pen and youll be lucky to move 3 steps before being tackled by many dogs! It's like the inferno of raging hounds! Goron: They approach you while growling then run away whimpering. Sounds hilarious when theres 10+ dogs all going 'Yarf yarf yarf!!!!' Zora: You quickly attain the attention of all like 25 dogs. A massive hord of puppies follows you wherever you go. Very funny to watch.

(Slightly) Altered Ending:
After already having finished the game once, confront Skull Kid again and play Oath to Order. After having stopped the moon, you will notice that Tatl's dialogue is quite different this time around. Some very nice easter eggs from gamefaqs: Indigo Go's Rehearsing... Old Zelda Game Music?! In the rooms where one member of the "Indigo Gos" (The Zora Band) is practicing with their instruments per room, the zoras are playing several different tunes... from old Zelda games! Pianist - Zelda: Game Over Screen Gutiarist - Zelda: Dungeon Theme Drummer - Zelda A Link to the Past: Small Dungeon Theme Secrets Most people probably already know this, but if you bomb a Gossip Stone, it start a quick countdown and then blast off into space. Looks pretty neat actually. |

some more common information but something to note
if that stupid bird out in termina field steals any of your important objects, you can buy them back from the curiosity shop, you should also see some interesting conversations between Sakon and the shop owner. |

Re: Majora's Mask: hidden conversations, events and other secrets.
Majora's Mask Mysteries
Majora's Mask features a lot of secrets, but also some genuine mysteries, where the game strongly hints something while not giving hard proof either way. Here are two such mysteries, with arguments both for and against. The Man from the Curiosity Shop is the same man who runs the Trading Post Arguments in favor: #1 - Looking at them, you can clearly see it's the same guy, who has simply taken of the wig and put on sunglasses for his job in the Curiosity Shop. #2 - The timing is perfect, the Trading Post man works up to 9 p.m, and the Curiosity Shop guy starts working at 10 p.m, just enough time in between to make the necessary changes and preparations. #3 - Talk to the Trading Post part-time employee wearing the Stone Mask and he will say this: "We don't get many customers, so why does the boss have so much money?" Arguments against: #1 - Characters in Majora Mask can look the same without being the same person (example: The Gorman Brothers). That the fishing pond owner in OoT would have two counterparts in Termina is no more crazy than Termina featuring characters looking like child-Malon and adult-Malon. #2 - Using the hole in Kafei's hideout, it is possible to see the Curiosity Shop owner at his desk when he is still in the Trading Post, seemingly contradicting the theory of the two of them being the same person. #3 - Talking to the Trading Post Owner does not unlock the Bombers Notebook entry for The Man from the Curiosity Shop, again signifying that they are not one and the same person. Personally, I do think they are one and the same, #2 against being simply a mistake by the developers (that whole scene seemed pretty sloppy anyway, why would the Curiosity Shop guy stay so many hours in the shop while keeping it closed to the public? Why would he want to enter the place so early? #3 just adds to the idea that it's a secret, not something that's supposed to be outright revealed by the game. The aliens attacking Romani Ranch are really Garos sent by the Gorman Brothers Arguments in favor: #1 - The Music Box House Professor mentions a number of Garo sightings "near the ranch on the far side of town". What Garos have you seen there, if not the aliens? #2 - Romani says "They come at night every year when the carnival gets closer". Why would they do that, just to steal the cows? The intention here seems to be to stop milk being sold to the city people, rather than simply steal away cows. #3 - A Gossip Stone reveals "It seems the Gorman Brothers were using Garo's Mask for ill...". Now what could that mean, other than confirming the theory? Arguments against: #1 - The aliens do not look anything like the Garos, they are bigger and immune to weapons that hurt Garos. #2 - Talking to Romani wearing the Garo Mask elicits no particular response, neither does wearing it while fighting the aliens cause anything to happen. #3 - Getting the Garo Mask from the Gorman Brothers does not stop the attacks. I really don't know what to make of all of this, both set of arguments seem quite convincing. Anyone have anything more to add? |

Re: Majora's Mask: hidden conversations, events and other secrets.
That means the music house professor is probably talking about the gorman bros. wearing their masks

Re: Majora's Mask: hidden conversations, events and other secrets.
What's really interesting about this one is that she never says who the "middle-aged woman" is. If you put yourself in her shoes (given what we know she knows) its likely she's thinking of a diffrent person then you're supposed to.

To add to the topic, the bunny mask get's you some pretty funny quotes from some Clock Town people and a few others. Trading post owner: "Nice mask, kid. I should get some of those for my shop... I kid you not!" Swordman: "What a cute hood. Now take it off before we start or you'll get your bunny all dirty." I forget who says it, but this is my favorite: "Aw!!! Cute Bunny Hood! I want to take it home and eat it!" Recently I watched the final night Cremia/Romani cutscene, and I must admit it was quite said... I mean, Romani doesn't even know why she's getting Chateau Romani, because she doesn't expect her sister would think of her as an adult anytime soon. But we all know... Cremia didn't want to tell Romani she was most likely to die that night, so she wanted her to at least have one bottle of Chateau Romani. It was quite sad to watch it. ![]()

Romani and Cremia are officially my two new favorite Zelda characters. That has got to be THE saddest event ever. Sigh... For those of you who want to witness the scene without having to play the game, I found a Youtube video that records this event, plus more: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fczFOsrdOrE The Romani-Cremia scenes start at 3.21.

Don't think this one has been posted: if you take a picture of Tingle with the pictobox and take it to the guy in the swamp who runs the pic competition, he'll act all shocked and say Tingle is his son.

Re: Majora's Mask: hidden conversations, events and other secrets.
Alternate ending of the Anju & Kafei sidequest:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnwjnCKdWhs Because Link didn't give Anju the pendant, Kafei's promise to Anju didn't make it so she didn't stay to wait for him. Kafei didn't seem to be aware of Link not fulfilling his request so he put the blame on himself. |

As for the middle aged woman, im pretty sure Cremia is referring to either Anju's mom or Kafei's mom and not Anju herself. Most Likely Anju's mom since she has suspicions that Kafei ran off with Cremia.

Here's one: Talk to Anju anytime before 4 30 in the first day and when she asks you if you have a reservation just say yes. She'll give you a key as if you actually had a reservation. Then be back by 4 30 and this will happen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FgXnQQ3aI_E
The goron will have whatever name you gave Link. |
