Blood?

Stallord was awesome, nowhere near scary... but then again, I'm a little older then 10. xDD Although, Armoghomma was bloody f***ing creepy. >_> *Arachnophobe*

Anyway, Bottom of the Well, after looking at a youtube video of it... is alot less scary then I remember. Huh. Still pretty bloody and dark though.

I always hated that place. ;_; Well obviously it doesn't bother me that much anymore, but it scared me to death as a little kid. When I was a bit older and now I question why this game was still rated E with all of the blood...but yeah I don't think they were too concerned with just that part of the game being all bloody...well and Ganondorf at the end. And I'm still scared of ReDeads. Doesn't matter if they're retarded looking like in WW I still hate them. e_e If they have them pretty much humping you in OoT just....why E?

Original version he coughed up red blood, but because there was some talk of a T rating because of this blood it was changed to green.

If I remember well, they also removed the blood under that cross in the Shadow Temple. And it wasn't animated.

Oh, I don't know where I can find those. I just remember seeing it somewhere and in-game.

All this talk of the blood in the original version, and the original Fire Temple music makes me feel left out. I got the (non-collector's edition gold cart, mind you, which makes me feel left out in the first place) one with the non-scary Fire Temple, green blood at the end, etc.

I only fairly recently (last couple years) got into the Zelda loop, so when I got OoT, I just got a silver cart on eBay. IT's got the Fire Temple music and stuff, and the blood under the cross in the Shadow Temple.

Hmmm...well like Farmboy said, most of you were ankle biters when you first played that game..i was already 17 when it came out..i didnt see anything in there to warrent a T rating..yeah Ganondorf hawks up some blood in the original (my) version, sure theres some dark imagery in the Shadow Temple and stuff but i dunno..didnt seem to me to be violent enough..what i dont get is that TP gets a T rating and Fire Emblem gets an E rating..now what is up with that? FE has alot of violence and suggestive themes...

My cartridge is silver, but it has the original Fire Temple song, Ganondorf spits out blood, and that blood in the Shadow Temple is there.

i only have the gamecube version, green blood and all. though the shadow temple sco eares the shiiiit out of me. i'm easily scared by not so scary stuff though. resi evil 1 and 4 don't scare me as much as redeads...

Somehow the less real the more scary stuff is for me.....

IT suprises mee too but then again different countries and societies have different standards and there was a long time apart between the release of OoT and TP so times change.

yeah it seemed that people those days didn't care of what type of violence the kids saw, they didn't show concern until the saw shootings in a high school in the late 90s.

The Columbine shootings of 1999? Yeah. It was rumored that those gunmen did it because they played Halo (it wasn't), and I guess people latched onto that and here we are.

They weren't insane. They were on anti-depressants because they were seeing a psychologist not long before the shootings happened because they were suffering from depression. However, since anti-depressants can change an individual depending on how they react to the medication, they then started the whole Columbine thing. I know it's weird. But that's has given anti-depressants a bad name. They were under medication on Prozac pills, I believe.

But back on topic, I'm pretty sure the red stain on the floors were blood. I'm surprised why it was rated as G8+ at the time.

These days, ratings on games are so super strict.
