Longshot or the bow, both are useful, but against enemies I prefer the bow. Though it isn't free because of the arrows...
And Megaton hammer is useful as well. These are the best in my opinion.

Longshot for me. Runner up would be the hover boots though. They are nifty.

Playing Spider-Man in Kakariko was the BEST until the claw shots came out. They make it even better, but seeing as this is OOT, I will say the Longshot.
I think maybe bombs were a second for me... but if we were going with items outside the temples and dungeons, then I would have to say Nayru's LOve. It made fighting the Axe Guys so much easier...

I voted megaton hammer but I meant silver gauntlets. They just make your character look much beter. AND you can toss boulders at stuff.

yessssss, that was mine too! (that's why I especially loved the double claw shots) It also signified beat the water temple, which I had a hard time with my first time through.

The mirror shield definitely because you could reflect stuff and the like-likes can't eat it.

Bow for the win. The Hammer was too slow and heavy for my taste, and the other stuff, while cool, couldn't hold a candle to the bow.
